In some embodiments, the method may include the steps of receiving a data set, scanning the data set with an NLP engine to identify a plurality of concepts within a plurality of distinct contexts, and identifying patterns in the relationships between the plurality of concepts.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to social network media streaming, and to the sharing of comments about the media content by users of the network. In particular, embodiments of the present invention provide a comment lock module that determines and assigns the locking position of a comment to a position within the media stream, e.g. at a particular time code, and restricts viewing of the comment according to its locking position. Thus, a locked comment allows unrestricted viewing access to a user only after the user watched the video past the position that the comment was locked to. The media content may be categorized and/or filtered to allow the user to focus on consuming and sharing primarily positive inspirational content.

Abstract: A video library interface provides a listing of interactive videos and information associated with the videos and is dynamically updated as a user views the videos and makes decisions that affect the playback of the episodes. More specifically, an interactive video that includes different traversable video paths is provided to and interacted with by a user. Based on user interactions received during presentation of the video, different video paths within the interactive video are traversed. In addition, a video library display including a visual depiction of information associated with a plurality of videos is provided. The video library display is dynamically modified based on one or more interactions made by the user with respect to the interactive video.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a system and method for performing a web conferencing presentation pre-staging. In a web conference with multiple participants and various presenters, each presenter is able to view a live presentation that is currently being presented to the participants, as well as view her own presentation in a pre-staged presentation mode. The test presentation mode allows a presenter to see how the presentation will appear to others, and provides an opportunity to test features such as audio, animation, time delay, lighting, and other important factors. When the current live presentation ends, the presentation that is in test presentation mode is switched to live presentation mode for viewing by the participants of the web conference.

The first and second audio items are adjacent in the respective sequence. The transition is provided to a second electronic device for playback.

Abstract: The image processing apparatus includes a group creation unit and a group adjustment unit. The group creation unit automatically creates a frame group that includes multiple frames that are a portion of the video and have undergone position adjustment with respect to one another such that the target object images overlap one another. The group adjustment unit receives, from a user, a designation of a group adjustment amount that is a position adjustment amount for the frame group, and performs position adjustment on the frames included in the frame group in accordance with the group adjustment amount. Note that automatically creating the frame group here means that rather than receiving a designation of a position adjustment amount from the user, the image processing apparatus automatically creates a frame group in accordance with a predetermined algorithm.

The method and system can include generating audio files and image files from the video, distributing the audio files and the image files across a plurality of processors and processing the audio files and the image files in parallel. The audio files associated with the video to text and the image files associated with the video to video content can be converted. The text and the video content can be cross-referenced with the video.

Abstract: Digital image animation techniques are described. In one example, animations are used for a single digital image to permit movement or other effects to be exhibited as part of the digital image without requiring multiple frames as in conventional techniques. Transformation of the single digital image by the animations may also be coordinated, such as to synchronize or not synchronize movement of objects to promote realism. In another example, portions and even an entirety of these techniques may be performed automatically and without user intervention. Machine learning, for instance, may be employed using a neural network to classify the digital image into one or more semantic classes. The semantic classes may then be used to recommend animations to transform the digital image.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an active-application interface on a companion device that allows a user to control an application running on a primary device. The active-application interface may describe state information for a plurality of applications running on the primary device and allow the user to manipulate the application through one or more contextual controls. The active-application interface may be used to control applications running out-of-control focus on the primary device, including applications that do not presently have a visible viewport.

Abstract: A system and method are presented to allow audio communication between users concerning a group of images. A first mobile device has an app that selects a plurality of images and then records audio commentary for the plurality of images. The images and audio commentary are grouped into an image grouping, and the image grouping is transmitted to a second mobile device. Reply commentaries to the image grouping can also be associated with a particular image in the grouping. Image groupings can be presented by reviewing all commentaries on a single image first before moving to a second image, or by reviewing all commentaries made in a user-session before moving to a second user session.

Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for populating an information interface based upon social media data. For example, users may post, share, and/or discuss various information through social media sources. Accordingly, social media data may be obtained from such social media sources. The social media data may be grouped into sets of social media data based upon temporal information. Within the sets of social media data, social media entries may be clustered into topic clusters (e.g., a royal wedding topic cluster, a plane crash topic cluster, etc.). Event summaries may be generated for respective topic clusters. The event summaries may be used to populate timeslots of an information interface, such as a calendar or timeline, to create annotated timeslots. In this way, the information interface may provide users with an interactive view of events over a time period, such as a year-in-review, based upon social media data.

Abstract: A media guidance application is provided by which users can view program listings associated with programming that the user may access using other user equipment devices. The media guidance application, implemented on, for example, a remote system, may determine through communications with television equipment whether or not the television equipment is authorized to provide a particular package of television programming to be viewed by the user. For example, an online program guide application may determine whether or not television equipment allows a user to view particular channels and, based on that determination, proceed to determine what packages of programming the user subscribes to. A customized program guide may then be displayed based on what programming the user subscribes to on various systems.

The method includes accessing the media content in response to the request and performing an analysis of the media content based on a user profile associated with the device. Based on the video input stream matching the template, the client device modifies the video output stream to show the change of speed. For example, commercials transmitted from a national content provider to a smart TV via a set-top box may be replaced with targeted commercials. During the replacement, fast-forwarding of the commercial may be detected by matching a template with the video input stream. While the video input stream is being fast-forwarded, the smart TV fast-forwards the targeted commercial.
