The user's genitals pass through an opening on the front of the chassis whenever the shorts are being worn. A hammock overlies the opening and is anchored to the chassis at two points on the right out seam, one point below the other, and two points on the left out seam, symmetrical with the right out seam attachment. The hammock is also attached to the chassis at the waist band and at the lower edge of the opening just above the left and right inseam joinder area. The hammock by being anchored at the out seams and being non-stretching in a transverse direction, acts as a sling in supporting the genitals of the user.

Abstract: The present invention Cushion Cover is a thin reusable soft fabric cover to be fitted around the waist of the patient which will preserve dignity and ensure privacy when wearing hospital gowns open in the rear. It is used by adult and children. Adults size (drawstring: 60 inches long; fabric 45 inches in width and 17 inches in length) (FIG. 1); children size (drawstring: 35 inches long; fabric 25 inches in width and 13 inches in length)(FIG. 2). Adults size are one size fits all. Children size are one size fits all. The article will cover only the buttocks of the patient and does not restrict doctor's exam to patient's lower body. The article will not interfere during radiological exams or treatments.

The product has a soft comfortable top layer, optionally an intermediate supporting layer for the top layer, and an adhesive layer for adhesion to the inner surface of the garment. The product exists in various embodiments, some of which are specifically configured for use by women, others for use by men, and others of a “unisex” configuration for use by both men and women.

The body portion may comprise a boxer short, brief, boxer-brief, thong, or long pants style arrangement.

Abstract: The invention prevents leg chafing, and keeps the garment from riding up in the wearer's crotch area, by disposing weights on the garment. If the garment is an undergarment, then Modal® fabric, a bio-based fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees, is especially preferred, as it is extremely soft, and wicks away moisture in an effective manner. It is an object of the invention to reduce leg chafing. It is a further object of the invention to teach a method of preventing garments from riding up into the wearer's crotch area.

The method also includes connecting the front apron portion to the crotch receiving portion by at least one connecting stay. The method further includes the individual putting on the article of clothing. Movement or wind driven displacement of the front apron portion from a crotch area is prevented by the at least one connecting stay maintaining the front apron portion in position.

The moisture protection pad comprises a first layer formed of a non-woven, absorbent material, and a second layer which is moisture impermeable. The second layer is disposed on the outer side of the first layer and covers substantially the entire outer side of the first layer. The second layer may be comprised of the first material which has been made moisture impermeable through a Teflon® treatment. A third layer formed of the first material is disposed over inner side of the first layer.

The aqueous polyurethane dispersions are provided in solvent-free systems of a prepolymer comprising at least one polyether or polyester polyol, a mixture of MDI isomers, and a diol. The adhesive films from such dispersions can be heat-activated for bonding, lamination, and adhesion of textile fabrics, including stretch fabrics.

Abstract: A tapered elastic back support is situated in a fabric tube formed at the top edge of a variety of shorts and pants suitable for use during athletics, exercise or rehabilitative therapy. Unlike traditional back braces, the portion of the back support encircling the front of the wearer's abdomen is tapered to pass well beneath the wearer's navel, permitting low cut garment designs that expose significant portions of the wearer's abdomen. The rear portion of the back support increases in height to cover at least the lower three vertebrae (L5–L3). The front portion of the back support allows the wearer to tighten the appliance such that a continuous elastic stabilizing pressure is exerted across the lower back. Branched drawstring portions or tapered belt portions are secured to the elastic back support material and extend through the fabric tube at the front of the garment.

Abstract: An undergarment in the form of boxer shorts includes a concealed inside pocket on the front panel for holding valuables and other items such as, but not limited to, a credit card, a membership or I.D. card, paper and coin currency and keys. The pocket hangs freely on the inside of the boxer shorts and is secured to the front panel at a top open pocket mouth. A horizontal slit opening on the front panel, just below the waistband of the boxer shorts, communicates with the pocket mouth to permit placement and removal of the items carried in the pocket. A zipper or other closure mechanism is provided for securing the slit opening closed, thereby safely containing the items in the pocket. Opposing flaps along the horizontal slit opening on the outside of the front panel help to conceal the pocket mouth and closure mechanism.

The shapes and sizes of the pockets are determined by the shapes of the upper-buttock form pieces and the lower-buttock form pieces. The upper-buttock form pieces and the lower-buttock form pieces can get in or out of the pockets.

Abstract: A method of making a pant having side seams and side-to-side crotch seams from a flat web. The method can be carried out in either the cross-machine direction or in the machine direction. The method includes providing a z-slit in selected areas along the flat web and folding the resulting flaps back onto the flat web. In the cross-machine direction process, the flat web is folded, side seams and crotch seams are formed and individual pants are cut. In the machine direction process, the flat web is cut into individual garment shells, which are folded, and side seams and crotch seams are formed. In either the cross-machine process or the machine process, the method can also include attaching an absorbent structure to the flat web.

The panels are positioned such that their respective outer surfaces are in a facing relationship. The panels are bonded together to form a crotch seam. The panels are repositioning such that the inner surfaces are in a facing relationship. The side regions of the first panel are bonded to the side regions of the second panel to create two side seams to define a waist opening and two leg openings. The crotch seam may be inset toward the panel waist edges, and may include one or more slits. The disposable pant may include an absorbent.

Abstract: A male undergarment providing a comfort barrier between the groin and outer wear with enhancements for promoting male fertility. By use of less restrictive (and confining) garment adjuncts to the conventional undergarment, an environment for genitalia, primarily the testes, is acquired that will reduce the level of body heat accumulating in the zone proximate those organs. Elements are used that will reduce the normal temperatures within that zone by: compartmentally segregating the penis from the scrotum and the latter from the loins; insulating (by suitable fabric) between the segregated organs and groin regions; and, venting the independent, scrotal compartment. Contrary to the modern norm, the genitalia are allowed to assume a more natural, pendulous suspension, one more conducive to the viability of spermatozoa.

The elastomeric composite laminate includes reinforcement strands incorporated into an elastomeric adhesive film. In one embodiment, the garment is a pant-like garment with the elastomeric composite laminate adjacent each of the leg openings.

Abstract: The present invention provides an undergarment, alone or in combination with a compatible overgarment. Also, an embodiment of the present invention includes a bodysuit comprising a torso section and an undergarment section. Undergarments of the present invention comprise a crotch panel for covering a crotch opening. In a closed position, the crotch panel is fixably attached to a back panel and is releasably attached to a front panel. The crotch panel is slidable from front to back which permits bodily waste elimination without the need for disrobing. In the open position, the crotch panel can be secured to the back panel. Methods of facilitating elimination of bodily waste are also provided by the present invention.
