    Abstract: The articulated off-road vehicle includes a pivotable chassis and an upper frame extending from the pivotable chassis. Wheels, an engine, and a steering assembly are coupled to the chassis, and the upper frame defines a compartment for drivers and passengers. The pivotable chassis is divided into a front chassis section and a rear chassis section, and a hinge joint pivotally connects the front chassis section to the rear chassis section. A front suspension assembly having a pair of shock absorbers respectively extending at an angle between the top corners of the upper frame and the front chassis section with the shock absorbers pivotally mounted to the upper frame and the front chassis section. Pivotal movement of the front chassis section and concurrent absorption of impact can substantially reduce impact forces imparted to the driver while traversing rough terrain as can thereby increasing safety and comfort for the driver.

    Abstract: The subject munitions deployment platform for an Anti-Personnel Obstacle Breaching System munitions set provides prepositioned compartments to receive the ALICE packs of the munitions set to ensure that they are positioned and aligned for proper deployment. The pre-positioned compartments ensure that when the APOBS is deployed, the front edge of the rear ALICE pack properly engages the rear edge of the front ALICE pack providing a fulcrum aiding rotation of the rear pack allowing it to clear the engaging elements to lift the rear pack off the platform and into the air where it further functions as a drogue to assist in extending the charge line over the chosen target line. Combining the subject platform with a vehicle, or with a towed wagon, allows a Soldier to remain in a safe location while remotely positioning the munitions set to clear a minefield or other anti-personnel obstacle.

An engine drives a hydrostatic pump which drives four hydrostatic motors, each of the hydrostatic motors in operative engagement with one of four wheels. The wheels are on wheel mounts, each of the wheel mounts having a vertical axis around which one of the four wheels with one of the hydrostatic motors is turnable. A steering system turns the two wheels of the front portion in a first direction and the two wheels of the rear portion in an opposite direction. The steering system is powered by the hydrostatic pump. A pedal control system has a first pedal controlling driving the vehicle in a forward direction and a second pedal controlling driving the vehicle in a rearward direction.

    Abstract: A grain cart has a wheel supported frame with a tow hitch, and the frame supports a hopper or container having front and rear walls connected by opposite side walls to define a chamber, and the walls incline downwardly and inwardly to a grain removal zone. Wheel well covers project into the chamber through openings in the inclined walls and have outwardly projecting elongated flanges adjacent the inclined walls. The flanges and the inclined walls have spaced aligned holes which receive fasteners or bolts for attaching the wheel well covers to the walls after components of the grain cart have been shipped to a destination. Each wheel well cover preferably has a generally vertical flat inner wall connected to a curved cover wall, and the flanges project from the inner and cover walls. The wheel well covers are formed to fit over the wheels for shipping efficiency.
