In order to solve the aforementioned problem, it is possible to provide an electronic device which identifies the attribute of a received file and a process being executed and performs a process in accordance with them. For this, it is possible to automatically perform an operation based on not only the file type but also the program being executed by the electronic device. Thus, it is possible to execute a desired process without requiring a complicated operation by the user.

Such disputes are often caused when a conventional shopping website just searches products required by a consumer based on messages provided by the consumer. In the provided method, an image file of a required product of a consumer is identified by a customer service terminal for generating a plurality of keywords related to the required product. The keywords are then inputted into a database for searching. Detailed information about the required product is found according to search results. After the detailed information is examined by the customer service terminal, the examined detailed information is returned to the client at the client terminal.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a filter chain object comprising an association of a starting set of data items and two or more filter links is created and stored in computer memory. Each of the filter links comprises a component object that associates a set operation and a membership criterion. Each of the filter links is associated with a particular filter view among a plurality of filter views. Each particular filter view comprises a graphical representation of a state of applying the membership criterion of the associated filter link to a subset of data resulting from filtering the starting set of data items according to zero or more preceding filter links.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and systems are provided for monitoring a technical object during, for example, a handover and/or takeover of the technical object. In one embodiment, a business partner may receive an XML file for a technical object. The business partner may generate a new structure, to represent the technical object, based on the XML file. The business partner may retrieve a corresponding structure from a backend component. The business partner may preprocess the new structure by performing a consistency check. The consistency check may include comparing the new structure to the corresponding structure. The business partner may store the new structure in a backend component after the preprocessing is complete.

Abstract: A method and system for generating a bilingual dictionary that maps words of the source language to words of a target language is provided. A Cross-Lingual Information Retrieval (“CLIR”) system accesses a parallel collection that is comprised of a parallel source collection and a parallel target collection, and generates a similarity score for sentences of the parallel target collection indicating the similarity of those sentences to sentences of the target collection. When the CLIR system generates a bilingual dictionary from the sentences of the parallel collection, it factors in the similarities of the sentences of the parallel target collection to sentences in the target collection. By factoring these similarities, the CLIR system allows sentences with a high similarity to have a greater influence on the mapping of words of the source language to the words of the target language than sentences with a low similarity.

Abstract: Product issues are identified through an analysis of forum data stored in a forum database. Forum threads are identified within the forum data and clustered together by grouping related forum threads. Once the forum threads have been clustered, the clustered forum threads can be analyzed to identify product issues. Once the product issues have been identified, steps may be taken in an attempt to resolve the identified issues.

Abstract: A process is described to build physical layer frames with a modcode adapted to the signal quality of a destination terminal. Data packets assigned to the same modcode may be sent in the same frame, although packets associated with higher modcodes may be used to complete a frame before switching to the applicable higher modcode for construction of subsequent frames. After an interval, the order of progression is restarted with an out of order packet above a threshold age. Flow control filtering mechanisms and a variable reliability margin may be used to adapt dynamically to the current data traffic conditions.

In one embodiment, a method for agile channeling inquiries to a customer relationship management system can be provided. The method can include receiving an inquiry from a customer to a customer relationship management system over a computer communications network. The method also can include inspecting an environment pertaining to the inquiry and matching the inspected environment to a specific channel of communication amongst multiple different channels of communication supported by the customer relationship management system, for example Web content, an e-mail, a live chat and a live phone call. Finally, the method can include responding to the inquiry through the matched specific channel of communications. In this way, a specific channel of communication can be selected to optimally respond to the inquiry.
