Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a master agent, announcements from candidate consumer agents indicating the presence of the candidate consumer agents. Each announcement includes display parameters for a display of the corresponding candidate consumer agent. The method further includes receiving at the master agent content parameters from a producer agent, the content parameters defining characteristics of content to be provided by the consumer agent. A mosaic screen is configured based on the received announcements and the content parameters. This configuring of the mosaic screen includes selecting ones of the consumer agents for which an announcement was received and generating content distribution parameters based on the content parameters and the display parameters of the selected ones of the consumer agents. The generated content distribution parameters are provided to the consumer agent.

Abstract: A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system includes receiving text from the user; identifying one or more search terms based on the text; identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, where the candidate images comprise a sponsored image; presenting one or more candidate images to the user, where the sponsored image is presented preferentially compared to other candidate images; receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images; generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text; and transmitting the social media post for display.

A diagram framework displays a first portion of a diagram within a diagram window of a display device. The diagram comprises a set of shapes and a set of connectors representing a corresponding set of relationships between a set of objects. The framework detects that a first shape of the set of shapes at a first position of the first shape and a first status indicator associated with the first shape at a first position of the first status indicator are at least partially outside a first visible portion of the diagram within the diagram window. The diagram framework determines a second position of the first status indicator within the diagram window. The first status indicator at the second position of the first status indicator is displayed within the diagram window.

Abstract: A system and method for collecting and processing data over a communications network. A data mining marshaller module associates each plugin to a particular data source and manages the plugin to periodically retrieve unstructured data from the data source based on a plurality of data items to be monitored on behalf of a plurality of users. The plugins convert unstructured data received from the data sources to structured data and the data marshaller module stores the structured data in a database. This enables the system and method to aggregate and display the structured data in multiple graphical representations according to the user's preference.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to generating a virtual co-parent key for a document information tree (DIT) including a plurality of child indexes each associated with a parent index. A virtual co-parent key for a first child index is generated. The first child index may be mapped to a child entry and may have a unique identification key including a child key and associated parent key. Generation of the co-parent key may include the computation of a co-parent seed key from the parent key or child key of the child index. The templates provide appropriate statements which can be inserted and modified in accordance with specific observations. The statements may contain grammatically interchangeable qualifiers presented to the user in the order of historical statistical usage. A report can be based on previous reports chosen to best match the metadata of the new report, or best matching the image being reported.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for classifying a user search query for a database system. In disclosed techniques, a computing system receives a user search query for the database system and determines, based on the user search query, a database query that is compatible with an interface of the database system to implement the user search query. In some embodiments, the computing system causes a query remediation interface to be presented to a user that entered the user search query. In some embodiments, the interface includes: a classification of the user search query that specifies attributes of the database query, and one or more elements selectable to alter the database query. The computing system receives, from the user via the query remediation interface, input for altering the database query and determines an updated database query based on the input. The computing system may access the database system using the updated database query.

Abstract: An aspect of the invention hereby presented provides a means to display a first set of, for instance, documents in conjunction with a second set of documents when the second set of documents would not necessarily fit in the query used to select the documents of the first set of documents and/or would not necessarily fit the collation of the first set of documents. Abstract: A cloud computing environment receives a request from a client. The request relates to access of an application executing in the cloud computing environment and it encapsulates a certificate. This certificate is then translated into an authorization graph descriptor which, in turn, is used to traverse a certificate authorization graph to identify a match within a certificate repository. In response to the identification of the match, an access token is requested including the authorization graph descriptor. The access token is then encapsulated in the request which is then forwarded to an authentication service which provides access to the application if there is a match of the authorization graph descriptor against pre-defined authorization requirements. The first plurality of linguistic pattern extraction rules ordered by the first identified level of abstraction is presented in a first list to a user via a user interface. A selection of one particular linguistic pattern extraction rule is received from the first list by the user via the user interface. That one particular linguistic pattern extraction rule selected by the user is applied to the document to automatically extract user-desired linguistic patterns similar to the user-selected text example from the document.

The form as it is being built on a display is executable as execution codes are attached the form items when the indicia is dragged onto a form view screen. A user will not need to consider how to define the manner in which the form items function. That is a user, in a single step, will select a form item that is a particular type to the build the form, and this form will immediately be executable. The form can then become part of a form flow.

Abstract: Systems and method for detecting malfunctioning display devices are disclosed herein. In one example, a display device for providing information can include a sensor to detect verification data indicating one or more display characteristics of display device output, and a processor to detect a set of configuration images to display using the display device. The processor can also display each configuration image from the set of configuration images and receive verification data from the sensor, wherein the verification data indicates the one or more display characteristics of the display device output. The processor can also determine that the verification data received by the sensor proximate to the display device does not match at least one of the configuration images from the set of configuration images and provide an alert indicating the display device is malfunctioning.

Abstract: Systems and methods for combined video trimming and stitching are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method receives two video files, each including labeled video segments and a playlist. Each playlist includes segment labels providing a segment playback order. The method receives a trim request including a target time range to be removed from a first video file, and a stitch request including the playlists of the two video files. The target time range starts at a beginning bookend timestamp and ends at an ending bookend timestamp. The method identifies beginning and ending bookend segments based on the beginning and ending bookend timestamps, then executes the trim request by processing the beginning or the ending bookend segment, and modifying the first video's playlist. The method executes the stitch request by generating a combined playlist for a combined video file.

Abstract: Preserving user privacy and preventing surveillance on behalf of users of a virtual reality world. One or more plans are available when a privacy or surveillance risk to a user is detected. In one plan, configurable scripts execute on behalf of the user to create a confusing array of clone avatars that obfuscate the real user avatar behavior. A malevolent avatar, attempting to surveil the user, may have difficulty distinguishing the clones from the user and may miss out on private insights he might otherwise have learned from the user's behavior. In another exemplary privacy plan, a copy of part of the virtual world is spawned, occupied exclusively by the user's avatar, and then merged into the main world. Privacy plans may be selected manually or automatically in response to perceived privacy threats to strike a balance between privacy and enjoyment within the virtual world.

Abstract: A method aligns a first panoramic image and a second panoramic image in a navigation procedure. The method includes using a computer vision algorithm for extracting features that are present in the panoramic images and use the extracted features to prepare a first feature vector for the first panoramic image and a second feature vector for the second panoramic image. The first and the second feature vectors are compared and matches in both the first and the second feature vectors that are above a determined threshold are identified. For the identified matches in each of the first and the second feature vectors for each of the two images, the perspective angle between a reference point of the respective image and the features according to the identified matches are determined. Finally, a difference between the determined perspective angles for a part of the identified matches in the panoramic images is determined.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method that includes receiving adjusted labeled data based on emotional tone factors. Words are analyzed using a tone latent Dirichlet allocation (T-LDA) model that models tone intensity using the emotional tone factors and integrating the adjusted labeled data. Representative words are provided for each emotional tone factor based on using the T-LDA model. The representative words are obtained using the T-LDA model based on determining posterior probabilities and adjusting the posterior probabilities based on an auxiliary topic.

Abstract: Techniques configuring a machine learning model include instantiating a user interface configured to communicate with a machine learning model hosted on a collaborative computing platform.
