Abstract: A jaw restraint is provided to temporarily secure an anvil assembly relative to a cartridge assembly during shipping. The jaw restraint generally includes a body portion having an upper arm for releasably securing the anvil assembly and a lower arm for releasably securing the cartridge assembly. An inwardly projection is provided between the upper and lower arms. The anvil assembly is secured between the upper arm and the inwardly directed projection and the cartridge assembly is secured between the lower arm of the inwardly directed projection. One or more finger members extending proximally from the body portion may be provided to facilitate biasing the upper arm away from the lower arm to release the anvil and cartridge assemblies from the jaw restraint. The jaw restraint may be provided with structure for engagement with shipping packaging.

Abstract: The Material Transport and Storage Device takes the place of a pallet. Its form is in the general shape of a rectangular slab with multiple legs extending down from each side. The Material Transport and Storage Device is made from high strength plastic or other composite materials. The Material Transport and Storage Device is designed to act as a pallet during transport and a shelf or table when it has reached the destination. The Material Transport and Storage Device can be lifted and moved while loaded by a standard powered fork lift or by a hand operated fork lift. The Material Transport and Storage Device will greatly reduce the time of handling of the product resulting in cost savings in terms of efficiency and job related injures.

Abstract: A shrink-film seal (101, 201, 301, 401) is described having at least one stamped portion (102, 402, 602, 702) which is arranged along the circumference of a container (203, 303) which is to be sealed. The regions which are defined by the stamping lines are designed in such a way that at least one contiguous window is produced by a shrinking process. This achieves a situation where the opening of the sealed container can be immediately detected simply, without aids or expert knowledge and therefore a considerable increase in the product security is ensured. A method is also described for sealing containers with a shrink-film seal (101, 201, 301, 401).

Abstract: A liquid container includes a container barrel having a liquid inlet, and a pressure reducing device mounted to the container barrel and corresponding in location to the liquid inlet. The pressure reducing device may be a vortex generator for depressurizing the pressure of the liquid entering the container barrel so as to reduce the noise generated by the impact of the liquid on the container barrel.

Abstract: A gas sampling container capable of obtaining, isolating and transporting samples of gas or other fluid under pressure form. The container further exhibits a plurality of simple, reliable, inexpensive, self sealing, valves which allow the introduction, flow through and exit of the gas sample. The container is suitable for taking discrete or serial samples from a gas or fluid flow source and is especially suited for use in automated sampling apparatus. These containers are acceptable for shipment of compressed flammable gases under the regulatory structures of many countries.

Abstract: An evacuation assembly for empting underground tanks of liquefied gas. The assembly not only provides ease of attaching a coupling to the underground tanks but also increases the safety of the individual attaching the coupling to the underground tank. The evacuation assembly uses a riser extension with a rotatable hose coupling mechanism to allow the coupling to be easily attached to the underground tank without the individual being exposed to volatile vapors that may have accumulated in the dome of the underground tank.

Abstract: This invention provides packaging material made from starch and cellulose fiber obtained from recycled paper waste. The process involves drawing a suspension of pulp and starch in water into a mold, and withdrawing water from the suspension while in the mold. Bubble-shaped wrap and bracing made according to the invention are designed for use as cushioning for the shipment of fragile or irregularly shaped items. The packaging is biodegradable when exposed to water in the environment.

Abstract: A pouch connector includes a safety cap having a cap base portion and a main connector disposed opposite the safety cap. The main connector and safety cap are configured to receive a portion of a pouch therebetween. The main connector includes a piercing member for piercing the pouch, an actuating portion for actuating the piercing member and a main connector base portion. The piercing member is configured to pierce through a portion of the pouch so as to provide fluid communication between a substance inside the pouch and the interior of the main connector. A polymeric membrane is coupled to at least one of the cap base portion and the main connector base portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for causing turbulent flow in a tank assembly that includes, inter alia, a base portion and a vane element that extends in an axial direction from the base portion. The vane element has a curved surface formed at a distal end thereof which is adapted and configured to redirect fluid traversing the device axially in a non-axial direction. Still further, a plurality of shoulder elements extend radially outward from the axis of the vane element and are adapted and configured for limiting that axial insertion of the device into a fitting associated with the tank assembly. In an embodiment of the present invention, the vane element includes lateral edges which are adapted and configured for press-fit engagement with an inside diameter of the fitting associate with the tank assembly.

The soft ring is configured for use with a casing of an electronic device, and the casing has a first housing and a second housing coupled together. A ring-shaped receiving groove is disposed on the first housing for receiving the soft ring and a ring-shaped flange is disposed on the second housing for pressing the soft ring along the coupling portion of the first housing and the second housing. The soft ring is characterized in that a channel is disposed along the soft ring. The soft ring advantageously features a high compressed capacity and a low reaction force to thereby prevent the casing from deformation and improve the waterproof capacity and dust control of the casing.

Vents and voids are provided in the lid to help dissipate heat from a live candle. A post may be removably disposed on an underside of the lid to receive interior inserts such as a basket, jewelry holder or medication vial holder. The container may be used as a canister when the post and interior inserts are absent. A cover may be used and disposed over the lid to trap a candle between the cover and the lid. The base of the container has an interior wall and an exterior wall defining a compartment in which graphics may be disposed.

The fitting for a beverage container comprises a ferrule of a beverage container in which a valve seat portion and an attachment portion are provided integrally, a down tube supported by the attachment portion, a gas valve fitted onto an upper end portion of the down tube, and a beverage valve provided in the interior of the upper end portion of the down tube. The device harnesses and reutilizes heat from the underside of the body and safely and efficiently transfers the heat to the cooking vessel through conduction. The wraps may take the form of a top and bottom wrap with complementary stacking patterns, in which the wraps create the centerbody. The stacking patterns of the wraps may take different forms with various shaped protuberances and recessed portions. Abstract: The present invention discloses a backing plate for storage bags as well as a storage bag and a storage box with the same. With this backing plate including a backing plate body, a trapezoid or triangular edge fold is formed as an extension to one end of the backing plate body, and another trapezoid or triangular edge fold as an extension to the other end of the backing plate body. With the backing plate arranged in the storage bag and the storage box, there are no requirements for the two edge folds extended outwards at the bottom of the storage bag. This will not only strengthen the stereoscopic perception of the storage bag, but also save materials and reduce the production cost, better satisfying the users' requirements.

One end of the tube is attached through a wall of the condiment container. The other end of the tube is positioned for delivery of the condiment to the food inside the food container. The sanitary seal is removably attached to the other end of the tube. The tube is bendable and rotatable. The food and condiment containers are attached together a flange on the condiment container and a mating slide on the food container; contact adhesive; a strip of hook and loop fastener; etc. The condiment container may be a flexible pouch or a syringe. Alternatively, the flexible pouch could be surrounded by an enclosure and a linkage provided so that pressure can be applied from outside of the enclosure to the pouch inside the enclosure.

The channel has multiple segments and is capable of being attached to both the sidewall and the bottom wall of a container. As the channel is attached to the walls of the container, an air conduit is formed to provide air conduction in the container. The attachment methods comprises mechanical, chemical, and adhesive. The channel has openings at the container's bottom wall and at the corner between the container's sidewall and bottom wall. The unique structure of the channel protects the openings from being blocked by a plastic liner.
