Abstract: A thermal processing and consolidation system is provided that includes an upper chamber assembly lower chamber assembly, layup and demolding station, transfer assembly, automatic or permanent coupling system, and controller. The upper and lower chamber assemblies are coupled to form an enclosed plenum operable to maintain a pressurized environment about a tool. The layup and demolding station receives the tool and facilitates the layup, bagging and sealing of unprocessed components at the tool. A transfer assembly accurately positions the tool on the lower chamber assembly in alignment with the upper chamber assembly. An automatic or permanent coupling system provides services to the tool and the enclosed plenum. A controller directs services to be supplied to the enclosed plenum and tool in accordance with a set of process parameters. This set of process parameters allows an individual set of unprocessed components to be thermally processed and consolidated.

Abstract: According to the invention, it was recognized that the fiber products, in particular, glass fiber products, suitable for thermal insulation can be temporarily given: an inherently stable shape by fixing agents that can be activated. This enables the fiber molded parts produced from the fiber products according to the invention to be used more easily or fully automatically. Processing the fiber products to form a molded part becomes exceptionally simple if said product itself carries the fixing agents. Therefore, a fixing agent does not have to be added in a separate production step during the molding.

Abstract: There is provided an imprint device for transferring a fine pattern to a material to form a patterned material. The device comprises a stamper having the fine pattern thereon, and a pressure distribution mechanism. The stamper is pressed against the material, and the pressure distribution mechanism provides a nonuniform pressure distribution in a patterned region of the patterned material, while the stamper is in contact with the material. There are provided an imprint device and a microstructure transfer method, by which it is possible to sufficiently spread a resin or other material for forming a pattern layer between a stamper and a patterned material with a lower pressure so as not to damage the stamper or the patterned material, and to form a pattern formation layer having the uniform thickness on the patterned material.

Abstract: A new process for preparing tablet powder or poured cosmetic products comprises preparing different cosmetic compounds in a slurry, i.e. “semi-liquids”, preparing a pre-moulded container (1) equipped with separating partitions (2) of small height with respect to the total depth of the container (1) and pouring said cosmetic compounds (4) into respective spaces adjacent to the container (1) defined between said partitions (2). Pouring is performed so that at least one of said poured compounds surmounts all the partitions (2) of the container (1). The process continues with the solidification of the poured compounds until forming a unique cosmetic product (6) with adjacent tablets (4) corresponding to the different poured compounds, the extraction of said unique solidified product (6) from the container (1), and its insertion into a final package. The internal partitions (3) of the container (1) may be fixed to the bottom of the container (1) in a permanent or removable manner.
