Abstract: A case for holding an electronic device includes a body having a void for holding the electronic device. The void approximately replicates the shape of the electronic device such that a face of the electronic device is not substantially surrounded by the body. The body has tabs configured to contact a portion of the face of the electronic device and hold the electronic device in the void such that it is held in place. The body has a flexible body portion, the flexible body portion defined by a cut in the body, dividing the body into a hinge portion and a main body. The hinge portion is configured to be flexed away from the main body to provide a direction that the electronic device is slidably removed.

Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to a pack, such as a backpack or daypack, that is customizable in size, functionality and features, and appearance. The pack has two physically separate portions, the front of the pack and the back of the pack, that are releasably connected together to form the pack and an accessible space therein. An optional middle portion or expandable panel can be added between the front and back portions to further expand the size of the accessible space. The pack can be customized through the selection of material and design of the material, shoulder straps, a waist belt, a pull handle or cart and wheels, and detachable pockets of different sizes and shapes. The pack can also be personalized through the addition of various design elements. A pack system is also provided that allows complete customization of a pack and its features.

Abstract: A Foodservice Container Caddy (“Caddy”) allows foodservice staff to handle foodservice containers without potentially hot, cold, wet, greasy, or otherwise contaminated surfaces of the foodservice containers coming into contact with dining-room surfaces and potentially damaging them or items of consumers that might interact with such surfaces. A sleeve, which can be made from multiple layers of various types of material, removably fits over a lower portion of a foodservice container, and handles enable foodservice staff to carry the Caddy and place it on dining-room or kitchen surfaces. Various embodiments of the Caddy can receive various types of foodservice containers and can be used to protect foodservice staff and dining-room surfaces from various types of contamination or hazards.

Abstract: The invention claimed herein and depicted in FIGS. 1 through 6 presents a holster-style carrying pouch for personal items. It can be worn on either the left or right side of the torso at the discretion of the user by using either the reverse or obverse face. The configuration of the device allows lower pouch 2 accessibility from both the obverse and reverse faces of the device. Lower pouch flap 16 can be selectively closed over either the obverse or reverse face of lower pouch pocket 2, which can be secured while closed via closures 20 (FIGS. 1 and 4). Pencil/pen holders 14 are also provided on both faces of the device. Main strap 6 is placed around the wearer's shoulder. Secondary strap 8 can be draped across the opposite shoulder or torso by attaching its terminal ends to attachment rings 26. A third configuration is possible by draping secondary strap 8 around the wearer's waist and securing its terminal ends onto waist strap rings 34 via securing means 28.

The device comprises a first protective layer (12) a second protective layer (14); where the respective layers (12, 14) are joined together at least at some point to form a fold (20). At least one releasable locking device (30) is provided for locking at least a part of the first protective layer (12) to at least a part of the second protective layer (14), thereby providing that the elongated object (2) may be carried between the first and second protective layer (12, 14). At least one releasing device (40) is also provided, the device (40) being connected to the releasable locking device (30), wherein activation of the releasing device (40) provides a release of the elongated object (2).

Abstract: The module retainer (1) for accommodating a functional module comprises a clamp (20) for attaching the module retainer (1) to a supporting belt (2). The clamp (20) has a first side (21) that is pivotally attached to a main structure (10) of the module retainer (1). The module retainer (1) further comprises at least one snap-fit (12) for operably attaching a second side (22) of the clamp (20) to the main structure (10) and for fixing the clamp (20) in a closed position in which the supporting belt (2) is embraced. The snap-fit (12) is designed and positioned such that it gets obstructed by a functional module (3) inserted in the main structure (10) of the module retainer (1) and secures the clamp (20) in the closed position.

Abstract: According to one embodiment a pet waste disposal apparatus is formed by panels of flexible material to define a primary pouch to receive waste and a secondary pouch for a roll of pet waste bags. A cover panel encloses both pouches when closed while a dispensing aperture of the secondary pouch remains accessible for dispensing individual waste bags from the roll even when the cover panel is closed. In a second embodiment of the apparatus a container defines a first receptacle for storing waste. A flexible sheet partially surrounds the receptacle to define a pocket area receiving the roll of pet waste bags therein. A dispensing aperture in the flexible sheet again permits individual waste bags to be dispensed while the receptacle remains closed.

A plurality of metal rods are inserted into respective holes in the stem. Each metal rod has is attached to a plastic petal, which also comprises a clip. A piece of candy can be attached to each clip and can be supported by each respective petal. The plurality of metal rods arranged in this manner create a visually appealing arrangement of decorative items or dispenser of candy.

Abstract: The personal floatation device (PFD) sleeve presented in this application comprises a sleeve in the form of a strip that can be worn on a swimmer's appendage including leg, calf and arm. The PFD sleeve may be made of a flexible, water resistant material. The PFD sleeve comprises a single compartment wherein a deflated PFD with CO2 cartridge is stored during swimming, and a first and a second connection panel whose major function is to wrap around the appendage of a swimmer using the fastening means on their surfaces. The present invention provides a PFD that is simple, reliable, light-weight, compact and can be inflated and deployed quickly during an emergency to support a swimmer floating on the water but does not affect the swimmer's mobility before it is deployed.

Abstract: A multi-mount system, including a receiver as one component of the system, for removably attaching articles to a garment. The receiver has openings for affixing the receiver to a device that is then secured to a device-compatible garment. An article, such as a holster, is affixed to an attachment mount that is then inserted into the receiver in locking engagement therewith. The receiver can also be attached to a platform, which is then secured to a garment. The receiver can also be attached to a second mount, which is then secured to a garment. The receiver can further be attached to other devices, such as a backing plate and waist belt. The mount and its affixed article can be quickly relocated to another receiver by compressing resilient outer tines of the mount and withdrawing the mount and then inserting it into another open receiver on the user's person.

Abstract: A reusable, hand-held carrier for transporting and storing a pair of ski boots includes: (a) a handle portion; (b) a shank including two opposite longitudinal first sides, an upper shank end being attached to a base handle section of the handle portion; (c) a hanger portion extending from a lower shank end and including at least two elongate hook elements, each of the hook elements including an open topped channel and a set of corresponding shoulder portions on opposite walls of the channel that form a pinched zone at the top of the channel. The boot carrier preferably also includes at least one carrier pin for holding a sole guard ski boot accessory within a recess in the carrier shank. The pouch assembly has a first fastener on one end of the strap and a second fastener on another end of the strap, the pair of fasteners releasably coupled to securely attach the pouch assembly to the animal or the person and to keep the material from falling out. The material held in the pouch can be any one of cooling elements, warming elements and elements to repel insects. The pouch is easily opened and closed and unhooks easily.

At least one strap extends from opposite sides of the lid attachment and may include a first buckle and a second buckle where the first buckle and second buckle join to secure the at least one strap around the perimeter of the pot or casserole dish. Further, a handle may be provide to lift the pot or casserole where the handle extends from the at least one strap.

Perpendicular corners are obtained by carving a width of plastic until there remains a thin wall which may be folded either internally or externally, thereby creating a link to a flared normal direction.

The bag dispenser has a dispensing slit transversely provided at the surrounding wall of the pouch body for dispensing the waste bags out of the bag cavity. The dispensing slit defines an upper edge and a lower edge extending edge-to-edge, wherein the upper and lower edges of the dispensing slit are arranged for holding a pulling portion of the first waste bag therebetween to allow the first waste bag being pulled out of the bag cavity through the dispensing slit. The upper and lower edges are extended close enough for holding a pulling portion of the next waste bag when the first waste bag is pulled out of the pouch body through the dispensing slit.

The lightweight carrier is substantially open to the elements and while desirable in many intended usages, benefits from a rain jacket stowed in a cavity of the lightweight carrier. Adjusters provide a means for a user to selectively determine a dimension of the lightweight carrier. The lightweight carrier also facilitates the attachment of accessory carriers.

The first portion of the disarming protection circuit is integrated into the magazine clip and includes, a high voltage source, a receiver for receiving a signal from a transmitter and an output. A second portion of the disarming protection circuit includes a conductor assembly including an electrode that extends adjacent to an inside wall of a magazine compartment. The first end of the electrode is electrically connected to a conductor connection adjacent to the output of the first portion of the circuit. A second end of the electrode is disposed through the handle and is exposed from outside the handle. An actuator generates the signal that connects the high voltage source in the circuit to the electrode in response to the output from the receiver.

The holster locking device includes a member for securing a rear end of a handgun. The holster locking device includes a frame. The interior surface of the frame may comprise first and second guide members such that the first and second guide members may be disposed in first and second guide grooves in the holster accessory mounting block. Also disclosed is a passage in the frame. A cantilever on the holster accessory mounting block may be disposed in the passage to engage the frame and lock the handgun holster to the holster locking device.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for protecting a mobile device. In one embodiment, a protection device for a mobile device is disclosed which induces a combination of a flexible inner sleeve and a rigid shell. The flexible inner sleeve conforms to, and encapsulates, the mobile device. The rigid shell receives and engages the inner sleeve. The flexible inner sleeve and the rigid shell can be used separately with the mobile device or can encase the mobile device as an integrated protective unit.

Abstract: An adjustably weighted exercise device comprises a wrap or sleeve with pockets for selectively receiving weight bars, each pocket having an access opening via which a weight bar may be inserted into that pocket, the access opening being at a location spaced from the ends of the pocket such that the weight bar is longer than the length of a bottom portion of the pocket extending from the access opening to the bottom of the pocket. An elastic section at the upper edge of the access opening permits the upper portion of the pocket to be stretched to receive and retain the upper portion of the weight bar. The number of pockets is maximized to enhance weight adjustability by providing the pockets in plural compartments, the compartments being located in two transversely spaced columns.

Abstract: Equipment carried on a person increases the surface profile of that person, particularly surface profiles which includes: an increased number of impingement points that can deleteriously interact with the physical environment of the person and thereby hinder movement; an increased level of fluidic drag thereby increasing the level of effort required by the person to move through the environment; and, a heightened acoustic signature as such equipment interfaces with the atmospheric environment. The present invention is directed to methods and means for reducing the exposed surface profile of equipment carried on an anatomical region of a person by introducing a cover assembly, which acts directly upon the equipment being carried.
