    Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention is an composition comprising: a) one or more isocyanate functional polyether polyurethane prepolymers; and b) one or more prepolymers of one or more polyisocyanates and one or more polyesters wherein the terminal groups on the polyester polyol polyurethane prepolymer are the residue of a monofunctional polyalkylene glycol (hereinafter capped polyester polyurethane prepolymer) or one or more polyester polyols which are capped with the residue of one or more monofunctional isocyanates (hereinafter isocyanate capped polyesters); wherein the composition is a low viscous paste at temperature of from about 40 to about 80° C. and is high viscous paste at a temperature of from about 40° C. or less. In a preferred embodiment the composition further comprises c) one or more catalysts for the reaction of isocyanate moieties with hydroxyl groups.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an electrically conductive adhesive which prevents migration and sulfuration of a metal component in electronic component mounting. The electrically conductive adhesive includes a thermosetting resin and metal filler particles dispersed in the thermosetting resin. It is possible to use, as the metal filler particles, metal filler particles having a composition including an alloy of Ag with at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Sn, Cu, In, Bi and Ni, a mixture of such metal filler particles and Ag filler particles, and metal filler particles including Ag filler particles and a coating layer formed on the surface of the Ag filler particles using a metal such as Sn.

    Abstract: An iodine/iodide-containing hot melt coatable adhesive is provided. This adhesive is prepared by mixing iodine and an iodide salt, individually or in combination, with solubilizing liquids. The iodine and iodide salt are combined with a pre-adhesive composition in a hot melt mixer, with an iodine/iodide complexing agent being present in the mixture. The mixture is mixed at a temperature from about 130° C. to about 200° C. and sufficiently to form an iodine/iodide-containing hot melt coatable adhesive. Alternatively, the iodide may be generated in situ. The adhesive so prepared may be packaged for coating on a substrate at a later time, or may be immediately coated to form an adhesive composite. Adhesive composites, particularly surgical incise drapes, are provided incorporating this hot melt coatable adhesive.
