Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: an exhaust fan which has a pipe portion; and a duct. One of the pipe portion and the exhaust duct is inserted and fitted into the other such that they are connected to each other. A band-shaped seal member is attached to the entire outer circumference of the pipe portion. Both end portions of the seal member overlap each other in the circumferential direction of the pipe portion and are located a predetermined gap apart in an axial direction. The end portion of the seal member on the side of connection of the pipe portion has a non-fixed portion which is extended a predetermined length from a tip end in the circumferential direction and which is not fixed to the pipe portion, to reliably prevent an air leakage from a connection portion in a fan and a duct.

Abstract: A spindle of an oil hydraulic cylinder includes a main body and a circular ring shaped copper coat. The main body defines a central axis and has a large diameter segment and a small diameter segment integrally extended from the large diameter segment. The copper coat is brazed on an outer surface of the large diameter segment. The center of the copper coat is arranged at the central axis, and the radius of the spindle is greatest at a portion of the spindle coated by the copper coat. The abrasion resistance of the copper coat is greater than the abrasion resistance of the main body. Thus, the spindle of the instant disclosure is a composite structure and is provided for reducing abrasion. Additionally, the instant disclosure also provides an oil hydraulic cylinder.

  • Patent number: 8517230
Abstract: A valve for controlling a flow of granular material and fluid comprises a body having a first end, a second end, and defining an interior surface. An inlet is formed proximate the first end for receiving the granular material and fluid. An outlet is formed downstream of the inlet for selectively discharging the granular material and fluid. A first member is slideably captured within the body and a resilient member is operationally coupled to the first member. The first member is moveable between an open position at which the granular material and fluid flow through the outlet, and a closed position upstream of the outlet at which the granular material is substantially prevented from flowing through the outlet. The resilient member is moveable between a retracted position and an expanded position at which it is engaged with the interior surface to substantially prevent the fluid from flowing through the outlet.

The inner face presents a pair of ridges that extend in a radially inward direction, and the outer face presents a groove. A spring of an elastomeric material substantially circumferentially surrounds the ring body and is seated in the groove on the inner face. The spring biases the ring body in the radially inward direction to seal the ridges against the piston body. The ring body also has at least one oil drainage port which extends at an angle relative to the radially inward direction from the inner face to a location on the outer face on one axial side of the spring for conveying oil out of a space between the ridges.
