  • Publication number: 20140190024
Abstract: The current marking gauges, mortise gauges and circle marking gauges on the market require use of a ruler to measure distances prior to marking, which is inconvenient and time consuming. Moreover, the accuracy of the marked dimension is inexact due to the low accuracy of using a ruler. Furthermore, parallax error created by transferring the measured distance between the rule and the gauges also needs to be accounted for, which reduces accuracy even further. This present invention helps to improve the accuracy of the measurement and marking of the gauges, increases efficiency, convenience, saves time and is easy to use. The new product is a digital multifunctional marking gauge, that includes a Digital Unit, Main Slider, Beam, Display, Fixed Pin, Adjustable Pin, Adjustment Slider, Fence, Calibration Frame, Calibration bar, Setting Block, Scriber, Set function button of the Digital Unit, Locking Screw, Fixing Screws and related components.

Abstract: An object is to scribe a small-sized substrate made of a brittle material with high workability. A plurality of brittle material-made substrates 107a to 107i are arranged on the table 106 while being positioned by their respective positioning pins 109. A recipe data table is prepared in advance for each of the brittle material-made substrates on an individual basis. On the basis of the recipe data table, the brittle material-made substrate and the scribing head are moved relatively to each other to perform inside scribing or outside scribing on each of the substrates. This makes it possible to subject a plurality of substrates to scribing operation at one time under automatic control.

Abstract: The invention relates to a numeric control engraving machine which can be used to engrave different objects such as gems, plates of metal or another material, such as to produce the effect obtained by means of artisan engraving with a chisel, in which the tradesperson performs a downward/upward movement with the chisel with each insertion made in the surface of the body to be engraved, such that the engraved line has a curvilinear trajectory. In addition to the three axes (X, Y, Z) or degrees of freedom for the movement of the tool holder, the inventive engraving machine also creates two complementary axes which are denoted as PT (depth of line) and SV (vector tracing), thereby producing the same type of engraving as that obtained by a tradesperson with a chisel. The PT axis controls the penetration movement of the tool for the curvilinear line over the course of the vector that defines the direction and sense of the line.

As a scribe pressure, a rotational torque of the servomotor 3 is transmitted to the scribing cutter. To form a scribe line across another scribe line which is formed earlier, the scribe pressure is raised temporarily when the scribing head passes the scribe line which is formed earlier.
