It is thus, for example, possible to allow a radio terminal to be configured with a numerology of a cell served by a secondary gNB or a target gNB in Inter-RAT Dual Connectivity between E-UTRA and NR and in a handover from E-UTRA to NR.
Abstract: A distributed software defined network (SDN) packet core system is configured to support a plurality of radio access technologies. The distributed SDN packet core system can include a cloud-based SDN centralized infrastructure instance and a plurality of local SDN infrastructure instances distributed in proximity to wireless access networks and radio access points thereof. The cloud-based centralized SDN infrastructure instance can be configured to handle network operations that are not latency sensitive. Each local SDN infrastructure instance can include a plurality of computer devices configured to execute a plurality of RAT specific control-plane modules and a plurality of RAT independent packet processing modules for performing latency sensitive network operations.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for time sensitive data transfer between logical domains. In one embodiment, an user equipment (UE) device has an application processor (AP) coupled to a baseband processor (BB) that operate independently of one another normally, but may cooperate in limited hybrid use scenarios. For example, the BB receives audio packets via a cellular network that are converted to pulse code modulated (PCM) digital audio to be played by the AP. Unfortunately, since the AP and the BB are independently clocked, they will experience some clock drift. As a result, the audio playback may have undesirable artifacts if the drift is not otherwise compensated for. To these ends, the AP and/or BB determine a relative clock drift and compensate for playback by e.g., adding, padding, or deleting audio samples and/or audio packets. Techniques for handover scenarios are also disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters of: a first resource for a first channel, of a carrier, for transmitting first feedback; and a second resource for a second channel of the carrier for transmitting second feedback. The first resource and the second resource overlap in one or more symbol durations. Power levels are determined. The power levels comprise: a first power level for transmission of the first feedback via the first resource; and a second power level for transmission of the second feedback via the second resource. In response to a sum of the power levels being larger than an allowed transmission power, the wireless device drops a configured transmission of the first feedback via the first resource. The drop is based on a first priority of the first channel. The second feedback is transmitted via the second resource.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for determining downlink control resources for transmitting control information to a user equipment (UE) that indicates downlink resources for a downlink transmission and a number of repetitions of the downlink transmission. The control information may be provided in a first transmission time interval (TTI), and the repetitions may span a number of TTIs. The UE may rate-match a shared channel containing the downlink transmission around the downlink control resources of the first TTI, and also perform the same rate-matching around corresponding resources in each subsequent TTI of the plurality of TTIs.

Abstract: Technologies for performing switch-based collective operations in a fabric architecture include a network switch communicatively coupled to a plurality of computing nodes. The network switch is configured to identify sub-operations of a collective operation of a collective operation request received from one of the computing nodes and identify a plurality of operands for each of the sub-operations. The network switch is additionally configured to request a value for each of the operands from a corresponding target computing node at which the respective value is stored, determine a result of the collective operation as a function of the requested operand values, and transmit the result to the requesting computing node. Abstract: A method of sharing an established connection between a primary device in a network and one of a plurality of secondary devices. Abstract: According to some embodiments, a system and method for determining a best path in a mesh network is disclosed. The method comprises collecting path information from a plurality of nodes in a mesh network during normal network operation of the mesh network. A first of the plurality of nodes is associated with an application that transmits high-density data packets and a second of the plurality of nodes in the mesh network is to function as a target station for receiving the high-density data packets. A best path to transmit the high-density data packets to the target station based on the collected path information is determined and the best path is transmitted to the plurality of nodes in the mesh network for initiating transmission of the high-density data packets to the target station via the best path.

Abstract: Embodiments of a speech broadcasting method, device, apparatus and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method can include: receiving recorded speech data from a plurality of speakers; extracting respective text features of the plurality of speakers from the recorded speech data, and allocating the plurality of speakers with respective identifications; and inputting the text features and the identifications of the speakers to a text-acoustic mapping model, to output speech features of the plurality of speakers; and establishing a mapping relationship between the text feature and the speech feature of each speaker. Abstract: In a general aspect, various fields of a PHY frame are used for motion detection. In some aspects, a first training field and a second, different training field are identified in a PHY frame of each wireless signal transmitted between wireless communication devices in a wireless communication network. A first time-domain channel estimate and a second time-domain channel estimate are generated for each wireless signal. The first time-domain channel estimate is based on a first frequency-domain signal included in the first training field, while the second time-domain channel estimate is based on a second frequency-domain signal included in the second training field. A determination is made whether motion has occurred in a space during the time period based on the first time-domain channel estimates, and a location of the motion within the space is determined based on the second time-domain channel estimates.

Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating resources are disclosed. Resources such as streams are allocated using restore credits. Credits are issued to the clients in a manner that ensure the system is operating in a safe allocation state. The credits can be used not only to allocate resources but also to throttle clients where necessary. Credits can be granted fully, partially, and in a number greater than requested. Zero or negative credits can also be issued to throttle clients. Restore credits are associated with reads and may be allocated by determining how many credits a CPU/cores can support. This maximum number may be divided amongst clients connected with the server.
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that enable a service provider to synchronize public-private Internet protocol (IP) pairs between a central logging entity (CLE) server that attributes network traffic and network address translation NAT device that logs network traffic. The CLE server includes a communication protocol client communicatively coupled to a communication protocol host. The CLE server, in response to receiving a deregistration message from a registration protocol server, sends a clear request message comprising a private address via the communication protocol client. The deregistration message includes the private address. The NAT device includes the communication protocol host. The NAT device, in response to receiving the clear request message comprising the private address via the communication protocol host, clears a binding that maps the private address to a public address to prevent network address translation between the private address and the public address.
Abstract: A method, by a multipath control entity, to control a transmission of a user data plane stream between a mobile entity and a proxy, wherein the user data plane stream is exchanged between the mobile entity and an application server connected to the proxy. Abstract: Computing devices and methods for transmitting and receiving optimized tunneling IP packets. At the entry point of a tunnel, an IP packet comprising at least one header is received. If data comprised in one of the at least one header of the received IP packet are redundant with data comprised in one or more tunneling header of a tunneling IP packet, then the redundant header is removed from the received IP packet. The tunneling IP packet encapsulating the received IP packet (with its redundant header removed) is transmitted. A header removal field is positioned in the tunneling IP packet to indicate the positive determination of redundancy. At the exit point of the tunnel, the tunneling IP packet is received. The header removal field and the one or more tunneling header of the tunneling IP packet are used for identifying the previous determination of redundancy and recreating the removed header.

Abstract: A first communication device generates a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (MPDU) delimiter having i) a feedback indication field and ii) a feedback content field. The feedback indication field is generated to include a first value that indicates the MPDU delimiter includes the feedback content field rather than an MPDU length field corresponding to a second value of the feedback indication field. The feedback content field is generated to include feedback information such as acknowledgement information regarding a communication frame previously transmitted by a second communication device, or control, management, and/or status information regarding the first communication device that was previously requested by the second communication device. The first communication device then transmits a packet that includes the MPDU delimiter to the second communication device.
Abstract: A data transmission method includes: receiving, by a receive end, a Radio Link Control protocol data unit (RLC PDU); determining, by the receive end, whether the RLC PDU includes a complete service data unit (SDU) or an SDU segment, where the RLC PDU is transmitted in unacknowledged mode (UM); and transmitting, by the receive end to a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer based on a result of the determining, the complete SDU or a complete SDU assembled by using the SDU segment. The data transmission method implements data transmission in UM at an RLC layer in 5G.

Abstract: A system and method for sending notifications of audio tone sequences to users in a push-to-talk over cellular communication system, including: decoding an audio transmission in a PTT (push to talk) server or in a PTT client, identifying audio tone sequences in the audio transmission, and sending from the PTT server or from the PTT client notifications of the identified specific audio tone sequences to users of cellular mobile devices, computers, and two-way radio communication devices. The notification may be a text message to a predefined PTT group, a delayed buffered replay of the audio transmission, the specific audio tone sequences with the audio transmission before and after the specific audio tone sequences; or an emergency alert sent to predefined members of a PTT group, or a combination thereof.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for selecting an antenna for beam measurement in which a terminal and a base station can communicate with each other in a 5th generation (5G) communication environment by executing an embedded artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm and/or a machine learning algorithm to perform signal processing. The method for selecting an antenna according to an embodiment of the present disclosure can include transmitting, to a base station, a report indicating that an antenna selection function for beam measurement is provided, receiving resource allocation information for beam measurement corresponding to the report from the base station, and performing, in response to a change in a beam direction caused by rotation of a terminal, beam tracking, based on commencement of a beam measurement period included in the resource allocation information for beam measurement.
Abstract: A method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises receiving, from at least one transmission and reception point (TRP) of a group of (N) TRPs, channel status information (CSI) configuration information, determining a CSI report based on the CSI configuration information, identifying, based on the configuration information, one or more TRPs of the group of (N) TRPs to transmit the determined CSI report, and transmitting, to the one or more TRPs, the determined CSI report over an uplink channel. The determined CSI report includes a TRP indicator for selecting (M) TRPs of the group of (N) TRPs, and CSI for each of the selected (M) TRPs, wherein N is greater than one, and wherein M is greater or equal to 1, and less or equal to N.
