Abstract: A vehicle routing platform may store, in a first data structure, a value at a logical index for each pair of locations of a plurality of pairs of locations. The logical index, for a pair of locations, indicates whether a travel time has been determined. The vehicle routing platform may store, in a second data structure, an offset index for each predetermined logical index of one or more predetermined logical indexes of the first data structure. The offset index, for a predetermined logical index, may be based on a quantity of logical indexes preceding the predetermined logical index in the first data structure. The vehicle routing platform may store, in a third data structure, travel times between pairs of locations of a portion of the plurality of pairs of locations. The vehicle routing platform may determine a travel time, between a pair of locations, using the data structures.

  • Patent number: 12253362
Abstract: An indoor positioning method includes judging whether a positioning terminal enters a coverage range of a virtual beacon. If yes, judging whether a distance between the positioning terminal and the virtual beacon gradually decreases to obtain a judgement result, according to the judgement result, adjusting the step size of a PDR positioning algorithm. When the distance gradually decreases, the step size of the PDR positioning algorithm is decreased, and when the distance gradually increases, the step size of the PDR positioning algorithm is increased. The positioning terminal is then positioned by a PDR positioning algorithm with the step size adjusted to obtain a positioning result. If not, the positioning terminal is positioned by a PDR positioning algorithm with the step size not adjusted to obtain a positioning result. According to the present invention positioning can be more accurate by adaptively adjusting the step size in the PDR positioning algorithm.

  • Patent number: 12230134
Abstract: Arrival/Travel times for public transit exhibit variability on account of factors like seasonality, dwell times at bus stops, traffic signals, travel demand fluctuation, spatial and temporal correlations, etc. The developing world in particular is plagued by additional factors like lack of lane discipline, excess vehicles, diverse modes of transport and so on. This renders the bus arrival time prediction (BATP) to be a challenging problem especially in the developing world. Present disclosure provides system and method that implement recurrent neural networks (RNNs) for BATP (in real-time), wherein the system incorporates information pertaining to spatial and temporal correlations and seasonal correlations. More specifically, a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) based Encoder-Decoder (ED) model with one or more bi-directional layers at the decoder is implemented for BATP based on relevant additional synchronized inputs (from previous trips) at each step of the decoder.

Abstract: Described are example systems and methods for facilitating management of flight planning and operations for unmanned vehicles, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The described systems and methods can facilitate generation of a risk-based model that incorporates the risk presented by certain flight paths as well as the risk of collisions between concurrently operating vehicles. The described systems and methods can also facilitate determining a lowest relative total risk for planned concurrent operations. The total risk can also be compared against a risk threshold to determine whether the total risk associated with the planned operations is within an acceptable range.
