Abstract: A request from a host is received requesting data from a storage device. Data of the storage device is written into a buffer of the host. The data at the buffer is to be encrypted and written back to the storage device. The requested data of the request is written to the buffer after the encrypted data is written back to the storage device.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the automated testing of a system that includes software or hardware components. In some embodiments, a testing framework generates a set of test cases for a system under test using a grammar. Each test case may perform an action, such as provide an input to the system under test, and result in an output from the system under test. The inputs and outputs are then compared to the expected results to determine whether the system under test is performing correctly. The data can then be interpreted in the grammar system or used as input to a fault isolation engine to determine anomalies in the system under test. Based on identified faults, one or more mitigation techniques may be implemented in an automated fashion.

Abstract: A specific gravity measuring tool comprises a portable handheld housing supporting a plurality of electrodes at a fixed known spacing thereon and a display for displaying a determined specific gravity thereon. The electrodes are arranged to be penetrated into the object to be measured, for example a potato. The electrodes include a first pair across which an electrical potential is arranged to be generated, and a second pair across which an electrical potential is arranged to be sensed. A processor of the tool is arranged to calculate electrical impedance using the electrical potential generated across said first pair of the electrodes, the electrical potential sensed at said second pair of electrodes, and the known spacing between the electrodes so that the specific gravity can be determined using a predetermined relationship between electrical impedance and specific gravity.
Abstract: A system and method for quantitatively characterizing moisture content of an at least partially hydrophobic fluid sample. The method includes providing a dry solution of an aprotic solvent, adding at least a part of the fluid sample to the solvent to produce an extract-sample, performing infrared spectroscopic testing on the extract-sample to generate absorbance data representing at least one absorbance characteristic of the extracted sample, and generating moisture data for the sample based on the extracted sample data.
