Abstract: Glyph accessibility techniques are described as implemented by a digital content processing system involving accessing glyphs and glyph alternatives. These techniques include preprocessing techniques in which a base font is used to determine similarity of glyphs within the base font to each other. Glyph metadata that describes this similarity is cached in a storage device and used during runtime to increase efficiency in locating similar glyphs in other fonts.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for controlling a display of dynamic data updates is provided. A scroll position is determined for a viewport. The viewport chronologically displays a sequence of dynamic data within a graphical user interface. Responsive to determining that the scroll position is a top-of-page, a set of data updates is retrieved from a buffer. The sequence of dynamic data displayed in the viewport is updated with the set of data updates. The viewport is updated only when the scroll position is the top-of-page.

The electronic form can include a control component at a component location of the electronic form that is operable to receive an input from a user. The method and system can then determine an accessibility state of the control component based on the component location and at least one of a display property of the display and the visible portion. The accessibility state can be a convenient state when the component location is suitable for the display but is in an inconvenient state when the component location is not suitable for the display. When it is determined that the accessibility state is the inconvenient state, the method and system involves displaying a transient control component, or a version of the control component, on the display.

A machine learning model is trained relative to the mapped input data and output data for generating the data-analytic visualization. During a normal usage of the data analytics system by a user, the trained model generates data-analytic visualizations to suggest to the user responsive to input data from the user. The machine learning model may thereafter provide a probability score for a particular user, the probability score indicating the likelihood that the user will engage in the specific activity for which the model has been trained to predict. The probability may be combined with a business value factor to produce a user intent score indicating the relative value of the user engaging in the specific activity.

In order to generate the metrics, a metricization rule associated with the log data can be obtained. For example, the metricization rule may be obtained from a user. The metricization rule may include one or more field-value pairs that define how the metrics are generated from the log data. Preview metric data can be generated by applying the metricization rule to the log data. For example, the preview metric data may be displayed via a user interface. Further, the metricization rule can be accepted or approved by the user. Further, the additional log data can be ingested and based on determining that the metricization rule has been accepted, metric data may be generated by applying the metricization rule to the additional log data.

The system builds one or more filter criteria frequency data structures indicative of the number of times each filter criterion has been used to filter search results and how often different filter criteria are used together. The system uses the frequency data structures to predict which filter criteria a user will likely employ to narrow their search given the filter criteria the user has already used. The system provides techniques for arranging or rearranging filter criteria within a user interface, by moving, placing, or ordering suggested filter criteria within the user interface, where a user is likely to be able to recognize and interact with the placed filter criteria, based on the determined amounts of use.
