Abstract: In some implementations, a system may identify one or more account identifiers associated with a user account and corresponding to one or more account types. The system may determine an action to perform if account information associated with the user account or with a particular account identifier satisfies a condition. The system may transmit, to a user device, user interface (UI) data associated with an icon-based UI element. The UI data indicates a rectangular-shaped element, of the icon-based UI element, associated with the particular account identifier, and an interactable icon, of the icon-based UI element, positioned within a bottom portion of the rectangular-shaped element. The interactable icon is representative of the action. The system may include receiving, from the user device, interaction data indicating an interaction, by a user of the user device, with the interactable icon. The system may perform the action based on receiving the interaction data.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for controlling virtual elements or graphical elements on a display in response to hand gestures detected by an eyewear device that is capturing frames of video data with its camera system. An image processing system detects a series of hand shapes in the video data and determines whether it matches a predefined series of hand gestures. Each predefined series of hand gestures is associated with an action. The system controls movement of the virtual element, relative to the display, in accordance with the associated action. In an example hand shape that includes a thumb sliding along an extended finger, the system establishes a finger scale along the extended finger, calibrates a graphical scale with the finger scale, and controls movement of an interactive graphical element, such as a slider, according to the current thumb position relative to the calibrated graphical scale.

Abstract: A computer system displays a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes data visualizations corresponding to data having timestamps within a time interval. A first type of input signal is mapped to a second type of input signal. The first type of input signal is associated with an input device communicatively coupled to the computer system. The second type of input signal is configured to operate a graphical user control of the GUI. Before mapping, the first type of input signal is configured to perform a function that is different from operation of the graphical user control. After receiving an input signal of the first type, an input signal of the second type is applied to the graphical user control based on the mapping. The time interval is adjusted, and the data visualizations are updated automatically to correspond to updated data having timestamps within the adjusted time interval.

Abstract: To document features of interest observed in a scanning procedure, after the images have been obtained the technician reviews the images on the imaging system and places virtual markers on the images (i.e., the 2D image or 3D volume) created by the imaging system. The virtual markers identify the type and location of the various features of interest observed during the imaging or scanning procedure and are placed directly on the images. Notes can also be added to the images, such as with regard to each of the virtual markers placed on the image. These virtual markers and optional notes communicate additional information regarding the patient and the image in a direct, efficient and comprehensive manner directly to the physician during later review of the images which would not be readily discernable solely from the image.

Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a computation device for performing a computation on at least a set of values. The values are stored in memory as a plurality of shares that define the value. An operation of the computation may be performed on a set of input values to obtain an output value. The output value may be defined by at least one shared share and at least one computed share. The at least one shared share may also define a further value, e.g., an output of a previously performed computation or an output of a further operation performed in parallel with the operation. The at least one computed share is computed from the at least one shared share and shares of the set of input values. A fault in the shared share affects the further value but a fault in the computed share, complicating share reduction attacks.

Abstract: A network device identifies an Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) tunnel that connects the network device to a remote device and determines that dead peer detection (DPD) is enabled at the network device. The network device receives a first DPD request message from the remote device via the IPsec tunnel, and sends a first DPD response message to the remote device via the IPsec tunnel. The network device determines that a workload of the network device satisfies a threshold amount, and sends one or more encapsulating security payload (ESP) packets that include traffic flow confidentiality (TFC) payload data to the remote device via the IPsec tunnel. The network device determines that the workload of the network device does not satisfy the threshold amount. The network device receives a second DPD request message from the remote device and sends a second DPD response message to the remote device via the IPsec tunnel.

Abstract: A process of linking newly submitted unsolicited electronic tips to public-safety data including public-safety cases and tips. The controller determines a display format of the fixed area in accordance with a display format of the non-fixed area.
Abstract: An example electronic device may include a display module, a communication module, a physical input device, and a processor. The processor may detect a trigger related to external device control from the electronic device and identify a capability to be controlled by the external device, based on the detection of the trigger. The processor may change a first function configured to cause a designated physical input device of the electronic device to operate, to a second function related to control of the identified capability of the external device and control the capability of the external device on the basis of detection of a user input through the physical input device.

Abstract: This invention provides a system and a method for online, web-based point of sale (POS) building and configuration, which can assist non-expert business operators in building, editing and testing a point of sale system to manage their businesses. The business operations range from a single branch to a large chain of stores or branches. The key advantages of the Web-based POS builder are that it is completely built on the foundation of the Web. The POS builder is accessible anywhere in the world. It can be used by a person of any skill level. The POS builder builds, edits, and tests new POS terminals in real time.
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the utilization of context information by an electronic device. In one example, a context affordance associated with a contextual category is displayed. In response to detecting an input, a plurality of options associated with the contextual category are displayed, including a first option corresponding to a first status that is a current status for the contextual category and a second option corresponding to a second status that is not the current status for the contextual category. When an input is detected that corresponds to the second option of the first plurality of options, the current status for the contextual category is set to the second status.

Abstract: Technology described herein can be embodied in a method of providing visual feedback during surgery. The method includes obtaining a set of vectors representing a model of an anatomical organ, the set produced from a representation of the organ as imaged under one or more imaging modalities. The method includes obtaining a set of pixel positions of a display device, wherein the pixel positions correspond to a view of the organ. The method further includes generating, using at least a portion of the set of vectors, multiple fragment-vectors for each pixel position in the set of pixel positions, the multiple fragment-vectors each representing a corresponding portion of the organ along a line-of-sight through the organ, and generating a pixel value for each pixel position in the set of pixel positions, and presenting, on the display device, an augmented image of the view of the organ using the generated pixel values.
