Abstract: A lid for a grain bin or other storage bin is provided. The lid can be provided on top of an opening to the bin and positionable between a closed position and an open position. The lid can include a panel having a first section and a second section, the first section having a first side and a second side and the second section having a first side and a second side, the second side of the first section pivotally connected to the first side of the second section and the first side of the first section pivotally connected proximate one side of the opening. The lid can be placed in an open position by pivoting the first section around its first side, substantially exposing the opening, and wherein the lid can be placed in a closed position with the panel substantially covering the opening.

Abstract: A container particularly well suited to hold premoistened wipes is described. The container can be formed primarily from flat polymeric sheets. In one embodiment, for instance, the container can be formed and loaded with a stack of wipes all in a single process. Further, the flat polymeric sheets used to form the container can be printed with various graphics during formation of the container so as to apply any suitable graphics to the container. Through the process of the present disclosure, containers can be formed having a sleek and compact design.

Abstract: A case for storing medical instruments contains a rotating bracket for holding the instruments. The bracket is connected to the tray and hinged lid of the case via a movable frame, and the bracket movement is controlled by opening and closing of the lid. When the lid is closed, the bracket points the tips of the instruments downward to minimize water collection; and when the lid is opened, the instrument holding bracket rotates so that the instruments it holds are moved to a vertical position, facilitating instrument selection.

The cylindrical bins consist of a transparent half-pipe bottom with vertical dividers attached to two circular end caps. The circular end caps provide a hinge for a rotatable door and snap-to-fit features that allow the stacking of the bins vertically.

Abstract: The subject invention is a lid assembly (20) for use on a container (22) presenting an endless top rim (24). A frame (26) includes shell-shaped sidewalls (36) that face one another, and present upper concave central edges (48). The upper concave central edges (48) are connected by lower edges (50) to define opposed L-shaped openings (54) between the central edges (48). A pair of abutting L-shaped flaps (28) each define a top leg (64) and a side leg (68). The flaps (28) are complementary to the L-shaped openings (54) by extending away from each other along the upper central edges (48) of the sidewalls (36) and then downward to the lower edge (50). The top legs (64) may be pushed down into the opening (54) to provide access to the container (22) while the side legs (68) bias the flaps (28) to a closed position.

Abstract: A hinge comprises a post that forms a pivot axis for a lid. A ring portion is rotatably mounted on the post portion and comprises a hole having a recess extending from the periphery of hole where the hole receives the post. A pin on the post is dimensioned to fit into the recess when the recess rotates into alignment with the pin to lock the lid in an open position. The hinge may be used on a trash container that comprises a receptacle and a lid pivotably mounted to the receptacle at the hinge.

Abstract: A rigid and tamper evident evidence container exhibiting interconnected sides, a bottom and upwardly extending and inter-foldable flaps for sealing and holding items of evidence in a secure and documentation verifiable fashion. The rigid and corrugated material exhibits either waterproof/non-fluid absorbent or fluid absorbent properties and is particularly suited for use by law enforcement personnel in the collection of evidence for criminal prosecution. Access and tamper-evident resealing structure is located along at least one facing side of the rigid material to allow for documentable re-entry of a pre-sealed container. The tamper-evident resealing structure includes a corrugated punch out section for establishing access to previously tagged evidence, combined with an over sized rigid or flexible patch with a tacky application surface for establishing secure re-closure of the opening.

The skirt depends downwardly from the top and extends around a periphery of the top. The opening is formed through the lid body. The door is arranged over the opening and connected to the lid body. The door has a push section and a flip section connected by a hinge. First and second pivot supports on the lid body are separated by the opening. The opening extends between the first and second pivot supports and engages the door at first and second discrete locations, respectively. As such, the flip section pivots about the hinge in response to downward pressure applied to the push section to uncover the opening.

Another aspect provides a container that includes a sheet of metal having a louver formed therein and a plastic structure having opposing surfaces that define a receiving space therebetween. At least one of the surfaces has a projection thereon and the louver are received within the receiving space. An edge of the louver engages with the projection to prevent the louver from being removed from the receiving space.

A hinge portion connects the cover portion to the ring portion and allows the cover portion to move from a closed position to an open position. The hinge portion is disposed completely within an outer periphery of the ring portion with the cover portion in the closed position. The cover portion covers the opening in the top surface of the spout in the closed position to form a fluid tight seal between the base and the one-piece lid.

Generally, this invention comprises an outer rectangular prismatic carton having a chamfered panel extending from the top panel to a side panel. There is an inner liner inside the carton, and a hinged top lid attached to the chamfered panel. The inner liner is attached to the carton or the lid. The lid is attached to the carton so it will not be lost and can be easily closed. Unlike a conventional cereal box top, it will be obvious if the flip top remains open. This invention will reduce the amount of spillage and stale cereal.

The hinge portion is configured on the inner surface on one side of the box and on the inner surface on one side of the cover. When the cover is closed and sealed with the box, the side dike seals the seam from the closing of the first leaning part with the second leaning part. Thus, the case for communication signal access apparatus according to the present invention employs the side dike to separate water or dust from introducing into the case through the seam between the first leaning part and the second leaning part.

Abstract: A universal lid for industrial or commercial large size solid waste containers, has a ribbed single layer central portion and a peripheral edge having a hollow double wall boxed configuration. The boxed perimeter may have a predetermined height such as approximately one inch, and the lid is provided with hinge lugs having a vertical extent substantially more but not more than twice than said predetermined height. In addition, the lids have substantial symmetry so that the lids may be stacked and nested with alternate lids oriented in opposite front-to-back directions. With this type of lid, the advantages of both single layer and double layer lid constructions may be realized.

The cover assembly is reversibly pivotably attached to a base and has downward facing edges to seal the cover to the base when the cover is pivoted in the down (closed) position. The semi-cylindrical portion of the cover assembly is a resilient transparent shield that reversibly detachable from the arched surfaces of the closed opposing ends (side walls) and is sufficiently resilient such that when detached form the arched surfaces of the opposing side walls, it assumes the substantially planar shape in which it was initially molded.
