Abstract: A lid for a jar and a jar and lid combination for a product is provided. The lid is configured to be selectively removable from the jar. The lid is also configured to be selectively openable when attached to the jar in order to permit access to the interior and any contents of the jar. The lid has a non-continuous bead that is positioned to engage a protuberance on a rim of the jar to secure the lid relative to the rim of the jar while permitting selective removal of the lid from the rim of the jar.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide an oxygen barrier cap with pull ring that maintains the opening easiness by tearing off with a pull ring, and the high productivity of one-piece molding by injection molding, and enhances significantly the gas barrier property, particularly oxygen barrier property. Further, in order to prevent conventional contamination of stored content caused by metal dust generated by tearing off the metal foil, or use of gas barrier resin molding material, the oxygen barrier cap with pull ring is molded from thermoplastic resin, and fixed to an opening of a container, and an oxygen barrier agent is coated on a score surface of a cap with pull ring, to form a coating film with oxygen barrier property.

Abstract: A plastic food container includes a lid adapted for sealing arrangement with a base. The rim of the base has an undercut formation adapted to receive the perimeter flange and flange tab of the lid when the lid and base are in the sealed arrangement. The flange tab includes an undercut release mechanism that allows a user to grasp a portion of the flange tab and initially open a sealed container via the extraction of the flange tab from the undercut formation by application of pulling force to the undercut release mechanism. The flange tab includes tamper evident means that provides visible indication that the undercut release mechanism has been utilized to initially open the sealed container.

Abstract: A garbage bin in which, when the opening of a container in which garbage is placed is closed by a lid, odor emanating from the garbage does not leak to the outside from a gap between the container and the lid. The garbage bin includes an outer container, an inner container placed inside the outer container and in which garbage is placed, an openable/closable outer lid pivotally attached to the outer container and closing the opening of the outer container, and an inner lid attached to the lower surface of the outer lid and moving together with the outer lid. The lower surface of the inner lid is in intimate contact with the upper end of the inner container when the opening of the outer container is closed by the outer lid.

Abstract: A galley drink preparation device (252) for the preparation of drinks on board an aircraft comprises a water supply device (360, 364) and at least one pot (10). In the pot (10) there is provided an inlet opening (40) for supplying water from the water supply device (360, 364) into the pot (10). Furthermore, the pot (10) has a receiving region (12) for receiving the drink to be prepared in the galley drink preparation device (252). Additionally present in the pot (10) is a holding device (22) which is arranged, in relation to a flow direction of the water supplied to the pot (10) by the water supply device (360, 364), downstream of the inlet opening (40) and is adapted to receive a coffee pad (32).

Abstract: A cover assembly for a beverage container includes a ball and socket assembly having a ball member and a corresponding socket member. The socket member includes extendable arms that engage the ball member. The ball and socket assembly permits the cover to be polyaxially rotated with respect to the beverage container. The cover is rotatable from a closed position, where the cover is seated against the beverage container, to a variety of open positions, where the cover can be rotated out of view from a user drinking from the beverage container. The ball and socket assembly, in addition, may be configured to maintain the cover in a variety of open positions relative to the beverage container without auxiliary support or assistance.

The item-receiving cavities have a frustoconical portion having a generally frustoconical geometry. A cover portion has an item-covering concavity for covering the frangible items. A first hinge is between a first longitudinal edge of the base portion and the cover portion for rotating the cover portion onto the base portion to hold the frangible items captive in the item receiving cavities. A hollow bridge spans between at least two adjacent item-receiving cavities of the container, a bottom edge of the hollow bridge being lower than a midheight of the frustoconical portion of the item-receiving cavities.

Methods are also described for packing a parcel for shipment. The insulation layer and the inner layer are inserted into the container, wherein the inner layer encloses the parcel. Thereafter, an insulation layer corresponding to a top wall is inserted and the top wall is closed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses and claims a multifunctional beverage cup that can be used to contain and dispense beverages and to store small items. The cup of the present invention comprises a cup body, a lid means and a storage bin which engages a recess in the cup body. The lid means comprises a hinged port cover, which both covers the drinking port in the lid means and comprises a bottle opening means. The cup body comprises a recess in its exterior surface which acts as a storage compartment when the storage bin is engaged to the recess.

Abstract: A clothes hamper assembly consisting of an outer case (60), an inner basket (70), a lid (80), and a divider (90). Inner basket (70) is suspended inside outer case (60) by upper rim (38). Lid (80) is pivotally attached to outer case (60) and covers the top of the hamper assembly when in the closed position. Ventilation holes (40) throughout inner basket (70) allow for air to circulate within the hamper assembly. Outer case (60) and lid (80) prevent odors from escaping into the surrounding air. Divider (90) is used to divide the inner basket as the owner sees fit. The use of an air-freshening device along with a moisture-absorbing product inside the hamper assembly further reduces the odor buildup inside the hamper.

A box assembly contains an infusion chamber and may be attached to the clip assembly. The box assembly has a top swinging lid to accept dry ice and other materials suitable for infusion. The upper or top side of the stop tab or shelf is trapped by a stop tab of the box assembly.

At least one of the recesses includes a locking groove that aligns with the post when the cover is moved to an open position to lock the cover in the open position.

The box portion defines a drain hole passing therethrough adjacent to the lower end. The inner shell and the outer shell define a cavity therebetween adjacent to the floor. The cavity, into which a tray fits, opens to a hole defined by the outer shell. The outer shell includes a bottom from which four feet that are molded into the outer shell extend so as to form an air gap between the bottom and any surface upon which the cooler is placed. A door is configured to cover the hole. The outer shell defines a first recess about the hole so that neither the door nor the attachment member extends beyond an outer surface of the outer shell when the door is in a closed position.

Abstract: A portable insulated grill has a housing and a lid, both of which have inner and outer shells of metal with a plenum therebetween filled with an insulating material such as fiberglass. A hinge couples the lid to the housing, and a tube is attached on the bottom of the housing. The grill can be carried on a carrier or on a vehicle. The carrier has a support surface, wheels, and a leg. A bar connected to the support surface extends toward an open side. This bar can removably position in the tube on the bottom of the housing so the support surface can support the grill. As an alternative, the grill's tube can mount on a drawbar attached to a hitch on a vehicle. Inside the grill, the housing has brackets that support a firebox on a first shelf and that support a main grate either on the first shelf or on a second shelf. The main grate has cutaways and can be locked in position by the brackets when positioned on the second shelf.

The lower bin and the lid support the weight of a person standing on the lid when the lid is in the first position. The lower bin and lid are positionable at a first height when the bottom wall is in contact with a floor and is positionable at a second height when the first recess receives the first chock and the second recess receives the second chock. The toolbox may also comprise an insert configured to divide the internal cavity between a lower space and an upper space and comprising an aperture. The mechanical connection system comprises components able to interact by part of a movement of one component being transmitted to another, adjacent component in such a way that only part of the movement of the flap can be transmitted to the locking device in order to lock or unlock the plug.
