  • Patent number: 11278803
Abstract: A game program causing a computer to implement a function of controlling progress of a game in which a user operates a player object in which an attribute is set causes the computer to implement an execution function of executing one game content selected from a plurality of game contents including a first game content and a second game content based on an operation input provided by the user, and a control function of controlling a motion of the player object in a game space based on the operation input provided by the user. In the control function, the computer implements a function of permitting the player object to execute a motion corresponding to the set attribute and prohibiting the player object from executing a motion corresponding to a non-set attribute during execution of the first game content.

Abstract: A method of playing a board game includes a game board arranged as a grid. The board is set up before play where certain playing squares include first or second indicia such that respective numbered tiles with matching indicia may be randomly placed on the certain playing squares. Players may then perform a series turns placing tiles having a third indicia on the board in a single straight line using at least one of the numbered tiles already placed on the board. The tiles must create one or more linear sequences wherein the sum of the numbered tiles within each linear sequence equals a predetermined value. Points are awarded to the player based at least in part on the number of linear sequences created during the turn. The winner may be the player with the highest total awarded points at the end of the game. Other aspects are also provided.

Whenever a playing piece is moved to one of the numbers on the playing surface, the player's score is changed based on that number and according to the mathematical function of the operator towards which the playing piece was moved. One embodiment of the invention is a word game in which each of the numbers on the playing surface has an associated letter. Movement of the playing piece from number to number in this version of the game necessarily also means movement of the playing piece to the number's associated letter.
