  • Patent number: 11062166
Abstract: Systems and methods for property feature detection and extraction using digital images. The image sources could include aerial imagery, satellite imagery, ground-based imagery, imagery taken from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), mobile device imagery, etc. The detected geometric property features could include tree canopy, pools and other bodies of water, concrete flatwork, landscaping classifications (gravel, grass, concrete, asphalt, etc.), trampolines, property structural features (structures, buildings, pergolas, gazebos, terraces, retaining walls, and fences), and sports courts. The system can automatically extract these features from images and can then project them into world coordinates relative to a known surface in world coordinates (e.g., from a digital terrain model).

  • Patent number: 11062108
Abstract: The parameters of an optical code are optimized to achieve improved signal robustness, reliability, capacity and/or visual quality. An optimization program can determine spatial density, dot distance, dot size and signal component priority to optimize robustness. An optical code generator employs these parameters to produce an optical code at the desired spatial density and robustness. The optical code is merged into a host image, such as imagery, text and graphics of a package or label, or it may be printed by itself, e.g., on an otherwise blank label or carton. A great number of other features and arrangements are also detailed.

  • Patent number: 11057685
Abstract: Methods and a System are provided for proving media content was played on a display through capturing of audit information presented in watermarks when the content is played on the display. In a method, content watermarks are generated for content that is to be rendered on a display of a display device. An image sensor that is externally affixed to a corner of the display captures the watermarks as the content is rendered on the display, the image sensor captures the watermarks being played with the content from the area associated the corner where the image sensor is affixed. The image sensor captures the watermarks as images and streams the images back to the display device for storage. The stored watermarks are processed to verify that the corresponding content associated with the watermarks was played by the display device (visually rendered on the display of the display device).

  • Patent number: 11055384
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support determining whether media data has been altered are described. Captured media data may be segmented into one or more subsets, and cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets may be written to an immutable ledger, possibly along with metadata and other related data. A block of a blockchain may be created for each entry in the immutable ledger. A set of media data may be validated, if a corresponding immutable ledger exists, based on segmenting the set of media data into one or more subsets in accordance with the segmenting upon capture, creating candidate cryptographic representations (e.g., hashes) based on the subsets, and comparing the candidate cryptographic representations with contents of the corresponding immutable ledger.

The image sensor generates angled-view images of the items stored on the rack. A tracking subsystem determines that a person is within a threshold distance of the rack and receives image frames of the angled-view images. A pixel position of a wrist of the person is determined in at least a subset of the received image frames, thereby determining a set of pixel positions of the wrist. An aggregated wrist position is determined based on the set of pixel positions. If the aggregated wrist position is determined to correspond to a position on a shelf of the rack, a trigger signal is provided indicating a shelf-interaction event has occurred.

Abstract: A discrete wavelet transform (DWT) based generative system for generating images of fashion products is provided. The system includes a memory having computer-readable instructions stored therein. The system includes a processor configured to access a plurality of fashion images of a plurality of fashion products. Each fashion image is generated at a first resolution. The processor is configured to train one or more DWT based generative models using the plurality of fashion images of the fashion products. Each of the generative models is selectively trained using a directional fashion image. The directional fashion image includes details of the fashion products corresponding to a pre-determined orientation and scale. The processor is further configured to generate an upsampled fashion image corresponding to each of the fashion images. Each upsampled fashion image is generated at a second resolution.

  • Patent number: 10997685
Abstract: An object (e.g., a driver's license) is tested for authenticity using imagery captured by a consumer device (e.g., a mobile phone camera). Corresponding data is sent from the consumer device to a remote system, which has secret knowledge about features indicating object authenticity. The phone, or the remote system, discerns the pose of the object relative to the camera from the captured imagery. The remote system tests the received data for the authentication features, and issues an output signal indicating whether the object is authentic. This testing involves modeling the image data that would be captured by the consumer device from an authentic object—based on the object's discerned pose (and optionally based on information about the camera optics), and then comparing this modeled data with the data sent from the consumer device. A great variety of other features and arrangements are also detailed.

Abstract: Data processing systems are disclosed for determining semantic and person keypoints for an environment and an image and matching the keypoints for the image to the keypoints for the environment. A homography is generated based on the keypoint matching and decomposed into a matrix. Camera parameters are then determined from the matrix. A plurality of random camera poses can be generated and used to project keypoints for an environment using image keypoints. The projected keypoints can be compared to the actual keypoints for the environment to determine an error and weighting for each of the random camera poses.

Abstract: A method includes providing frames of video data for being displayed by a head mounted display (HMD). Pixel data is encoded in a pixel of at least some of the video data frames, the encoded pixel data defining a focal state of an optics block of the HMD for displaying the respective frame of the video data to a user. The predetermined focal state is determined from a plurality of available focal states of the optics block, each focal state corresponding to a different focal plane of a virtual image generated based on the video data. The pixel used for encoding may be disposed outside a region of the frame that is displayable by the HMD.

Abstract: A method for embedding the spread spectrum watermark into images with the self-adaptive embedding strength includes the following steps: designing a spread spectrum watermark capable of completely shielding a host signal interference by using prior knowledge of the host signal interference, self-adaptively adjusting a value of an embedding strength in the spread spectrum watermark with different host images, ensuring imperceptibility of each image while simultaneously maximizing robustness of the watermark, and finally embedding the spread spectrum watermark in the host image. The present disclosure can not only completely shield the host signal interference but also effectively withstand various common image processing attacks and geometric attacks, and at the same time, all the watermarked images can obtain consistent imperceptibility.
