  • Patent number: 10827117
Abstract: Embodiments of the present application disclose a method and apparatus for generating an indoor panoramic video. For each of frames of the fish-eye video, coordinates of each of pixels of this frame in an image coordinate system are converted into coordinates in a spherical coordinate system to obtain a spherical coordinate system-based hemispherical fish-eye image. The frustum parameters of each of the N texture images of N viewing angles for the hemispherical fish-eye image are determined according to a shape of a preset living room. Based on the frustum parameters of each of the N texture images of N viewing angles, the N texture images of N viewing angles for the hemispherical fish-eye image are obtained. The N texture images of N viewing angles are rendered onto the N faces inside the preset living room, to generate the panoramic video image corresponding to the frame. As such, in the embodiment of the present application, a panoramic video image having a stereoscopic effect can be generated.

Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may facilitate insurance-related tasks. UAVs may actively be dispatched to an area surrounding an insured or potentially insured asset, such as with the insurance customer's permission, and collect data related to the insured or potentially insured asset, such as size, height, roof shape, materials (siding, roofing), etc. which may form a basis of the underwriting detail used to evaluate a property. The drone data may reveal site characteristics, such as slope or grade of a parcel; the proximity to other structures (and their uses); trees; rivers; coastlines; and earthquake faults. The drone data may be used by an insurance provider remote server to assess the risk associated with an insured asset, generate or modify an insurance premium or discount, etc. The drone data may also be used to mitigate risk and prevent loss by alerting policyholders of the risk such that corrective action may be taken.

Abstract: An autofocus detecting device includes a jig, a driving member, and a controller. The jig fixes a camera at a preset object distance. The controller controls the camera to capture an image. The controller calculates a resolution of the captured image and determines whether the image resolution reaches a preset resolution threshold value. If the image resolution of the captured image does not reach the preset resolution threshold value, the driving member rotates a lens of the camera, and controller controls the camera to capture a new image. The controller calculates the image resolution of the new captured image and determines if the image resolution of the new captured image reaches the preset resolution threshold value. The controller controls the driving member to rotate the lens until the image resolution of the captured image reaches the preset resolution threshold value or until the lens reaches a maximum focus.
