  • Patent number: 11020479
Abstract: A method for production of solid water particles for homeopathy uses principles of quantum physics to from a concentrated solid water particle solution. A homeopathic ingredient solution is diluted in purified water in an inert gas environment. The dilution occurs as infinitesimal doses, in which the solution is repetitively diluted in water past the point where few molecules from the solution remain. An electrical field is applied to align the water molecules for formation of a large clump of solid water particles. Alternating phases of ultrasonic vibrations break down the large clump into small clusters of solid water particles. The vibration is followed by periods of rest, whereby the small clusters grow into successively larger clumps by absorbing water molecules. The vibrations and resting are repeated in cycles until a desired concentration of solid water particles form in the solid water particle solution.

  • Patent number: 10729132
Abstract: A method for controlling xylophages (e.g., termites, Asian Beetle, Emerald Ash borer, Weevils, Deathwatch Caterpillars, cockroaches) by inhibiting methane production of methanogenic Archaea in the digestive tract thereof. The inhibiting of the critical biochemical pathways specific to the methanogenic Archaea is achieved by contacting the xylophage with one or more antimethanogenic reagent (AMR) compounds. The AMRs may include, for example, naturally-occurring statins (which may be found in red yeast rice) or derivatives thereof, linoleic acid or related compounds, essential oils, certain synthetic compounds or combinations thereof. As a result, the effectiveness of the methanogenic Archaea to produce methane is compromised. This subsequently results into the malfunctioning of the xylophages' digestive system and provides a safe, natural, green and sustainable means of controlling the xylophages.

  • Patent number: 9808555
Abstract: Bone tissue biomimetic materials, biomimetic constructs that can be formed with the materials, and methods for forming the materials and constructs are described. The bone tissue biomimetic materials include electrospun nanofibers formed of polymers that are conjugated with peptides that include acidic amino acid residues. The materials can incorporate high levels of mineralization so as to provide mechanical strength and promote osteogenesis and/or osteoconductivity on/in the bone tissue biomimetic materials. The materials and constructs can be utilized in forming tissue engineered structures for in vitro and in vivo use. Macroscopic bone tissue biomimetic scaffolds formed from the materials can be seeded with osteogenic cells and utilized to develop bone graft materials that can exhibit strength and osteoconductivity similar to the native bone and that exhibit uniform distribution of nutrients in the scaffolds.

  • Patent number: 9757346
Abstract: The invention provides methods of treatment that induce satiety in a subject for a period of at least around twenty-four hours by once-daily administration to the subject of a controlled release dosage form, wherein the dosage form is administered while the subject is in the fasted state and at a time of around six to around nine hours prior to the subject's next intended meal, and wherein the dosage form comprises a controlled release composition, which comprises an enterically-coated, ileum hormone-stimulating amount of a nutritional substance and releases the majority of the nutritional substance in vivo upon reaching the subject's ileum. The invention also provides a diagnostic tool for probing the health and disease state of the ileal hormones, excess or deficiencies. The invention provides a safe vehicle for targeted deliveries of chemical, pharmaceuticals, natural substances and nutrition to the ileum.

  • Patent number: 9669203
Abstract: Methods and systems for inducing and passively detecting stable cavitation and/or inertial cavitation for targeted drug delivery across a biological membrane are disclosed. Such methods include administering vesicles having a nucleating agent and a therapeutic drug to a vascular system of a patient, and providing an active interval of ultrasonic exposure substantially throughout a targeted treatment zone. The ultrasonic exposure is produced by a source transducer at a specified fundamental frequency, amplitude, duty cycle, and duration. The methods also include detecting a scattered ultrasonic wave, where the scattered ultrasonic wave is received by a detection transducer. Detection of the scattered ultrasonic wave is indicative of stable and/or inertial cavitation. The ultrasonic exposure is provided intermittently in the active intervals separated by rest periods, and substantially less ultrasonic exposure is provided during the rest period than during the active interval.
