Abstract: The Tamian Fusion Cell is a uniquely designed electrolytic cell that promotes the process of nuclear fusion. The cell consists of an outer cylinder whose inner surface is lined with palladium (Pd), a middle cylinder of platinum (Pt), which acts as an ion “kicker”, and a central palladium (Pd) electrode post. The middle (Pt) cylinder is perforated, allowing for the electrolyte and ions to flow from the outer cell chamber through these holes to the inner cell chamber and vice versa. A dual-polarity, direct current power supply is connected to the cell by either a “double-pole double-throw” switch or by an “integrated timing circuit”. The purpose of the I.C. timing circuit or switch is to periodically reverse the polarities of the cell's palladium electrodes, which creates a fluctuating ion flow, whereby promoting constant fusion at the negative palladium electrode.

Abstract: An electrode assembly includes a distribution plate having a plurality of grooves that communicate with openings in an overlying polishing pad layer. The grooves include end openings that allow for draining of process solution, both during processing and subsequent cleaning/rinsing of the pad. Drainage occurs continually during processing, cleaning and rinsing, and so is constricted through the end openings relative to the grooves, to prevent wastage. The end openings are sufficiently large, however, to substantially completely drain fluids from the grooves between steps without delaying robotic motions.

  • Patent number: 7479209
Abstract: Production of pure metals through electro-winning and electro-deposition is accomplished by electrolytic deposition of metal over a reusable stainless-steel plate (cathode). Metal is deposited on both faces of the cathode, as well as on its edges, creating problems when removing the deposited metal. Breaking the deposited edges to remove the metal deposited on both faces produces irregular edges, folding and damages to the surface of the cathode, requiring re-processing, increasing costs of the deposited metal, as well as repairs or replacement of the cathodes. This invention includes a structure made of insulating material to which are fixed electrically energizable cathode guidance profiles with a cross-section similar to an omega and which house the edges of the cathodes, holding them in position during the process.

Abstract: A device and system useful for highly efficient chemical and electrochemical reactions is described. The device comprises a preferably porous electrode and a plurality of suspended nanoparticles diffused within the void volume of the electrode when used within an electrolyte. The device is suitable within a system having a first and second chamber preferably positioned vertically or in other special arrangements with respect to each other, and each chamber containing an electrode and electrolyte with suspended nanoparticles therein. When reactive metal particles are diffused into the electrode structure and suspended in electrolyte by gasses, a fluidized bed is established. The reaction efficiency is increased and products can be produced at a higher rate. When an electrolysis device can be operated such that incoming reactants and outgoing products enter and exit from opposite faces of an electrode, reaction rate and efficiency are improved.
