The apparatus executes instructions that cause/allow the apparatus to receive input related to an electronic membership card, retrieve from a data store membership information associated with the vehicle, and dynamically update the electronic membership card for display on the apparatus.

Abstract: A consumer oriented data service is provided. A data collaboration service initiates operations to provide access to data from multiple sources by managing a data table of aggregate data fields based on a request from a client application. The request includes a consumer identification and data queries. An ownership of the data table is assigned based on the consumer identification. Local data fields identified in the data queries are inserted into the data table and populated with local datasets stored in the queries. External data fields identified in the data queries are inserted into the data table and populated with links to external datasets stored in external data sources.

Abstract: A system and method allow a user or business entity to create customized rules for bidding on keywords to/from a search engine. A bid automation engine allows a user or business entity to specify a number of rules for bidding on keywords used in Internet advertising campaigns. The bid automation engine may be part of, or interface with, a web analytics tool and/or a bid management system to provide user-defined strategies for bidding on keywords. Accordingly, a user or business entity may set up a customized bidding strategy for keywords by building sets of bidding rules.

Abstract: In an approach to determining a boundary-specific offer, one or more computer processors determine a user of a mobile device is within a pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors determine a first notification of an offer corresponding to the pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors determine whether the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary. In response to determining the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary, the one or more computer processors invalidate the offer.

The method includes processing messages as events at an event notification engine of a computer system maintaining a database of subscriptions of a plurality of subscribers, the subscriptions including first predicates stored in the database as first datums that are searchable. This includes receiving a message as an event including a second datum. The event is transformed into a query in a query language used to search the database, the second datum being transformed into a second predicate that is included in the query. The query is executed in the database to search the first datums for a first datum that matches the second predicate, and from the first datum, identifying a subscription that matches the event, the subscription being for a subscriber to which the event is routed.

Abstract: A system and method configured to provide enhanced services based on check-in information obtained in a social network system and transaction location information observed in a payment processing system. In one aspect, the transaction location may be used to validate, verify or authenticate the check-in location declared in the social network system. In another aspect, the transaction location can be used as a basis to automate a check-in in the social network system in accordance with a preference of a user. In a further aspect, the transaction location and the check-in location can be correlated to detect inaccurate data, correct the inaccurate data, and/or augment the data in a data warehouse about the locations of transaction terminals.

Abstract: The system and methods allow a user to request and receive an electronic coupon using a client application on an internet-enabled device such as a mobile phone and use the electronic coupon when making a purchase at a store. Specifically, the mobile device requests and receives the mobile coupon from a server or a network of servers. The server or network of servers determines which if any electronic coupon(s) to send to the client application and sends an electronic coupon to the client application. The client application displays the electronic coupon with a coupon identifier on the display of the mobile device. The user then uses the mobile device to enter the coupon identifier into a point-of-sale terminal to trigger the discount or other special deal offered on the electronic coupon when making a purchase at the point-of-sale terminal.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a consumer comparative pricing data from at least two merchants is discussed. In one aspect of the invention a customer queries a database containing time and location specific pricing data for competitors of a first merchant. If the query shows that the customer could have purchased the same item or items for a lower price at a competitor, the first merchant awards the customer an on-line credit that is redeemable at the merchant. In another aspect, a consumer uploads an image of a competitor's receipt. The item specific data on the receipt is converted to UPC codes on an item-by-item basis. These UPC codes are then compared against the merchant's pricing database and the consumer is provided data set comparing the prices the consumer paid to the prices the consumer would have paid had the consumer shopped at the merchant.

Depending on the level of onboarding, the classification engine either uses the first classification evaluation to make a determination regarding the classification of the freelancer or captures additional data to perform a second classification evaluation to make the determination. Abstract: Whenever users receive or transfer a copy of any of a set of documents, prior verification of the document is enforced by an administrative system, which associates verification metadata with the copy. As each copy is itself copied, possibly modified, and transferred, updated verification metadata is included with the previous verification metadata to form a verification lineage chain, which can later be examined to determine the circumstances of any verification failure. Documents are preferably verified by comparing the digital signature of the current copy with the signature of a reference copy. Documents may be signed by submitting them as transactions to a blockchain, with the blockchain receipt comprising the digital signature of the respective document.

The settlement processing server receives transaction authorization records corresponding to authorized transactions. The transaction authorization records are appended to an initial authorization stream. The initial authorization stream is closed and the transaction authorization records appended thereto are split into substreams. The settlement processing server preprocesses the transaction authorization records in each of the substreams. While the transaction authorization records appended to the substreams are preprocessed, the settlement processing server initializes another authorization stream and appends newly received transaction authorization records thereto. A clearing data batch file is generated based at least in part on the transaction authorization records appended to each of the substreams. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A system and method for structuring an online auction when a reserve price is not met are described. In an online auction, bidding activity is analyzed over a duration to determine whether there are multiple active bidders for the auction and whether the reserve price for the auction is met after a designated period of time. In response to making that determination, the bidder interface for a sole active bidder on the auction can be automatically updated to include a notification that the bid has not met the reserve price and an option to place a new bid on the item so that the auction is successful and does not end with no bids meeting the reserve.

Abstract: Devices, computer-readable media and methods for delivering customer service content associated with a reason code are disclosed. Examples of the present disclosure may include a processor of a telecommunication network identifying a reason code associated with calls from customers to a customer call center and determining a set of shared traits among the customers. The shared traits may be based upon first network event data and first customer account data associated with the customers. The processor may further determine a customer with a propensity to call score that exceeds a threshold and with a customer profile that matches the set of shared traits. When digital assets are cached within the less-connected venues, users within those less-connected venues are better able to consume the assets, and are therefore more likely to purchase rights to consume the assets. Users within a less-connected venue may purchase and consume assets while the target network is completely disconnected from the source network from which the digital asset distribution is controlled. Sessions that are initiated within less-connected venues may be transferred outside those venues, to allow users that have purchased assets to continue to consume those assets after they leave the less connected venues.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing cash flow, including incoming and outgoing transactions, and mitigating unconfirmed cash shortfalls for an entity's accounts. In an embodiment, a system comprises a processor configured to render an interactive graphical user interface (“GUI”) for the cash flow timeline on a display device. The cash flow timeline displays past and unconfirmed Cash In and Cash Out transactions and any cash shortfalls, which can be mitigated by selecting automatically displayed options. The GUI has a plurality of selectable, actionable user interface (“UI”) elements. In an embodiment, the GUI comprises a UI element selectable to display bar graphs for selected time periods of the cash flow timeline. The GUI also comprises Cash In and Cash Out centers. In embodiments, methods employ the Cash In/Out centers to add, edit, schedule and delete Cash In and Cash Out transactions such as transfers, expenses, bills, receivables, and payables.

A bidding module may conduct the auction by providing an auction interface to the client devices within the predefined geographical area. The auction interface includes an option to bid on the item. A completion module may transmit a confirmation to a winning auction participant.

Abstract: In a distributed network hosting a shared pool of configurable computing resources there is provided one or more system instances of a blockchain. Each system instance comprises a virtual machine and a set of containers. The containers are members of the blockchain in that the blockchain's public ledger records encrypted copies of at least selected directories of each container. Each container that is in the set can thus verify whether any other container also belongs to the same set with reference to the public ledger, since the transactions recorded on the public ledger are encrypted copies of the set's containers. The use of a blockchain thus allows a system boundary to be defined around a set of containers by the initial specification of the blockchain. The system boundary can be defined to ensure that the set of containers comply with legal requirements, such as a geographic restriction.

Abstract: Systems and methods for deriving and using an interaction profile are described. In one described method, a plurality of metrics indicating a level of satisfaction for search results is determined. The metrics comprise at least one of click-duration data, multiple-click data, and query-refinement data. The values of the metrics for a plurality of instances of an object, such as search results from a search engine, are determined. An interaction profile for the object, based at least in part on the values of the metrics for a plurality of instances of the first object, is then determined. This interaction profile may be used in a variety of ways, such as determining the quality of ranking algorithms and detecting undesirable search results.
