Abstract: Systems and methods for generating proposed budget amounts by a budget tool are provided. A budget system identifies a budget category for a user. Information associated with one or more payees of the user and payment history information associated with one or more payments made to a payee included in the one or more payees is obtained from a bill payment system. Based at least in part on the obtained information, the payee is identified by the budget system as a budget payee associated with the budget category. Based at least in part on the identified payment history information, a proposed budget amount for the budget payee is calculated. A presentation is generated that includes an indication of the budget category, an indication of the budget payee, and an indication of the proposed budget amount. The generated presentation is transmitted by the budget system for display to the user.

Abstract: A restaurant service system for assessing the accuracy of estimated delivery time provided by a restaurant includes an order server, a restaurant server, a service server and an assessment server. Each of the servers includes a server software application. The order server software application collects a set of orders from a set of diner devices. The restaurant server software application retrieves an estimated delivery time for each order in the set. The service server software application determines an order actual delivery time for at least one order in the set. The assessment server software application determines an accuracy measure of estimated delivery time for the restaurant.

Abstract: A system and a method are provided for managing events in a smart grid. The method is implemented in a computer infrastructure having computer executable code tangibly embodied on a computer readable storage medium having programming instructions operable to: receive a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) notify message comprising a monitored state of at least one electrical device, from a smart meter; send a SIP publish message comprising the monitored state of the at least one electrical device, to at least one client device for management of the at least one electrical device; and determine and send a rule comprising at least one action to take in response to the monitored state of the at least one electrical device, to the smart meter.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for generating targeted advertising campaigns for a business-to-business (B2B) company. The method comprises first retrieving an ideal customer profile (ICP), and generating candidates leads that match the ICP. Next, generating test campaigns, scoring each test campaign based on a number of acquired leads and a campaign cost per lead (CPL), where the number of acquired leads is calculated based on feedback information received from each test campaign, and where each test lead who responds affirmatively to one of the test campaigns is marked as an acquired lead, and generating a targeted advertising campaign to a larger subset of the candidate leads based on the test campaign scores. The present invention utilizes a closed-loop approach to customize campaign audiences, to optimize targeted advertising campaigns and ICPs, and as a result, to produces high-quality, low-cost, targeted advertising campaigns for B2B companies.

Abstract: Data processing computer systems, in various embodiments, are adapted for: (1) presenting a threshold privacy assessment that includes a first set of privacy-related questions for a privacy campaign; (2) receiving respective answers to the first set of questions; (3) using this initial set of answers to calculate an initial privacy risk score for the privacy campaign; (4) determining whether the privacy risk score exceeds the threshold privacy risk value; (5) in response to the privacy risk score exceeding the threshold privacy risk value, providing one or more supplemental questions to the user to facilitate the completion of a full privacy impact assessment. In some embodiments, in response to determining that the privacy risk score does not exceed the threshold privacy risk value, the systems and methods provide an indication that the particular privacy campaign is a relatively low privacy campaign.

Abstract: A method and associated system for authenticating an individual's geo-location via a communication network is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: a) Providing an individual with a smartphone having a GPS receiving unit associated with a communications network; b) Providing the individual with a biometric user identification technology; c) Obtaining via the communications network the geo-location of the smartphone utilizing the GPS receiving unit; d) Identifying the user with the biometric user identification technology by obtaining biometric characteristics that are unique to each human; and e) Verifying the biometric user identification technology is within a preset proximity to the smartphone to authenticate the individual's geo-location.

Abstract: Approaches for displaying a user interface including a map based on interaction data are disclosed. A set of interaction data and can be acquired and stored in a data structure. This data can be associated with a plurality of consuming entities that may have purchased something during these interactions. A set of provisioning entities can be determined based on spending or purchasing habits of the consuming entities. Based on this set of provisioning entities, a user interface can be generated which may include various shapes similar to a heat map. These shapes can indicate an average amount spent in a particular neighborhood, among other attributes.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and device embodiments for implementing location identification in multi-factor authentication (MFA). In an example embodiment, a user service may present a geographic map based on a MFA process, and receive an authentication attempt including a geographic indicator and interaction information. Further, the system may determine whether the authentication attempt was made by a human based at least in part on the interaction information, determine whether the geographic indicator matches an expected response, and send, to an electronic device, an authentication result indicating whether geographic information was determined to be selected by a human and the geographic indicator was determined to match the expected response.

Abstract: A query is received from a particular endpoint device identifying a particular wireless access point encountered by the particular endpoint device. Pre-existing risk assessment data is identified for the identified particular wireless access point and query result data is sent to the particular endpoint device characterizing pre-assessed risk associated with the particular wireless access point. In some instances, the query result data is generated based on the pre-existing risk assessment data. In some instances, pre-existing risk assessment data can be the result of an earlier risk assessment carried-out at least in part by an endpoint device interfacing with and testing the particular wireless access point.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and validating certified electronic credentials are disclosed. A certified electronic credential may comprise a computer-readable file representative of a credential bestowed upon a recipient, in which the file is protected with one or more document integrity and document usage security feature. A publisher may receive a certified electronic credential order from a credentialer and prepare a plurality of certified electronic credentials. The publisher may associate each credential with authentication information and a credential record, and retain a database of associated authentication information and credential records. The publisher may provide validation services, receiving a validation request through a credentialer's validation portal, and provide a response through the credentialer's portal indicative of the validity, additional information about the credential, and even an audit trail.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a point-of-recognition optimizer system configured to optimize onsite user purchases at a physical location. In various aspects, a purchasable-unit identifier (ID) may be received via a computer transmission, where the purchasable-unit ID, as identified by an optimizer device, is associated with a recognized purchasable-unit located onsite with the optimizer device. Based on the purchasable-unit ID, a plurality of competing purchasable-units may be identified, which may be either onsite or offsite purchasable-units. An offer is transmitted via a second computer transmission for an offered purchasable-unit to the optimizer device where the offer originates from an outbidding purchasable-unit distributor, and where the outbidding purchasable-unit distributor outbid other competing purchasable-unit distributors, each distributor corresponding to the plurality of competing purchasable-units, for an opportunity for the optimizer device to receive the offer.

Abstract: In an example, first and second machine learned models corresponding to a particular context of a social networking service are obtained, the first machine learned model trained via a first machine learning algorithm to output an indication of importance of a social networking profile field to obtaining results in the particular context, and the second machine learned model trained via a second machine learning algorithm to output a propensity of the user to edit a social networking profile field if requested. One or more missing fields in a social networking profile for the user are identified. An example may include, among other features a MWD data acquisition system including an analog data reception for receiving analog MWD data, an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, at least one isolation circuit for electrically isolating the analog data reception circuit and the analog-to-digital conversion circuit from a digital data transmission circuit. In some implementations, the data reception device may be at least partially powered by the battery.

Abstract: A method for extensible chat rooms in a hosted chat environment includes providing multiple different chat rooms, each executing in a separate process address space of at least one computing device. Each of the chat rooms includes a textual transcript of chat postings and a video feed of a subject. A catalog of extensions available for provisioning in connection with the different ones of the chat rooms is displayed to different moderators of the different ones of the chat rooms. Thereafter, in response to a selection of one of the extensions by one of the moderators, the selected one of the extensions is provisioned for use in connection with processing a particular event in a corresponding one of the chat rooms. Specifically, the extension pre-processes the particular event as the particular event occurs in the chat room before permitting the chat room to process the particular event.

In one aspect it integrates the older legacy insurance policy generating systems to on line systems where users access the system through browsers. The computer system to perform the process of underwriting, rating, quoting, binding, and booking an insurance policy includes browsers, data bases, processors and a dispatcher that parses the information to select an insurance process. Suitable software programs review messages received from users to determine if certain messages are less than a prescribed limit. Abstract: A system and method for remote acquisition and delivery of goods includes a server in communication with customer computers, such as through a user interface via the internet. The server can store customer information including billing information, and may include an image processor. A mobile delivery system in communication with the server includes an energy efficient vehicle, an image capture device, a global positioning system, a communication device and a printer. In use, a customer communicates with a mobile delivery agent via the image capture device and the communication device to remotely acquire a product. Once acquired, the delivery agent delivers the product to a designated delivery location. The image capture device can be utilized during the entire transaction. The system preferably includes a processor for optimizing system efficiencies, including selecting a delivery agent based on the product, pick-up location and delivery site.

During a particular usage session that uses a container, all interaction with the computing device is maintained in the container. The container is deleted when the usage session ends, leaving no data from the usage session behind after the usage session ends. Additionally, some usage sessions need not be run in containers, so data generated during such usage sessions is maintained after usage session ends. The host operating system automatically determines which usage sessions to run in containers and which usage sessions to run separate from any containers.

The method may further include classifying the detected data types into one or more categories, and creating one or more dynamic objects based on the one or more categories.

Abstract: Examples of the disclosure are directed toward generating a causation score with respect to an agent and an outcome, and projecting a future causation score distribution. For example, a causation score may be determined with respect to a hypothesis that a given agent causes a given outcome, and the score may indicate the acceptance of that hypothesis in the scientific community, as described by scientific literature. A future causation score distribution, then, may indicate a probability distribution over possible future causation scores, thereby predicting the scientific acceptance of the hypothesis at some specific date in the future.
