Abstract: Methods, system, and computer program products for associating off-line transactions involving a product with visitors to a web-site. Data relating to an off-line transaction and data relating to visitors to a web-site is received in a computer. The computer determines a score for each visitor based on a number of page views relating to a product in the transaction. A subset of visitors may be determined based on the scores. A likely candidate may then be selected from the subset of visitors using matching methods that compare e-mail addresses, IP addresses, geographic proximities, and times of event occurrences of the transaction to those of the visitor web sessions. The visitor having the strongest match may be identified as a likely candidate, and a web session generated by the likely candidate associated with the off-line transaction for analytics analysis of web marketing and web-site design effectiveness.

Abstract: The disclosed exemplary embodiments include computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that manage cryptographically secure exchanges of data using a permissioned distributed ledger. For example, an apparatus obtains parameter values characterizing an exchange of data and transmits the parameter values to a first computing system, which executed instructions included within a distributed ledger. The executed additional instructions cause the first computing system to access rules data recorded onto the distributed ledger and establish a consistency between the parameter values and at least a portion of the accessed rules data. The apparatus receives, from the first computing system, confirmation data indicative of the established consistency, and based on the confirmation data, transmit a request to execute the data exchange in accordance with at least the portion of the parameter values to a second computing system.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the system and method may access a request to charge an electric vehicle at a specific charging station, identify a charging network (e.g., one of multiple, disparate charging networks) associated with the specific charging station, and automatically provide payment information to the charging network via a payment protocol associated with the charging network. The charging interface system, therefore, may facilitate access to any charging network and/or charging station by providing an interface between a driver of an electric vehicle and one of many charging networks.

Abstract: Systems, data access management utilities, and methods generate links between local merchants and community programs, whereby the merchant may provide incentives to customers in relation to community programs. The implementations may track community programs, as well as online and offline customer transactions with merchants that make use of the incentive. Participants may have participant identifiers, which may be linked to a payment source. A data model management service provides a logically centralized repository that allows discovery of datasets via exploration of dataset metadata. The data model management service can ensure the validity of the datasets and the associated metadata by enforcing dataset validation rules and/or requiring dataset metadata to be provided and limiting visibility into non-compliant datasets.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for determining the intent of a recommendation made by a user of a mobile application where the application includes a plurality of separable components, any one or more of which the recommendation can apply to. An application in which a user recommendation control is provided for presentation to a user also includes a tag indicating how a recommendation of the application should be interpreted with respect to the components included therein. The tag can be set by the application developer and can be in the form of text (e.g., a keyword or term) or a uniform resource locator (URL). Where a tag references multiple components of an application, a recommending user can be presented with a recommendation intent query. The recommendation intent query allows a user to designate one or more components of the application to which the user's recommendation should be attributed.

Customer Relationship Management today is still a one dimensional tool, one that featured Email as the core for direct agent-client relationship. CRM should be redefined and relabeled as Communication Management to open up the idea that relationships with clients are developed across multiple platforms though multiple channels. As will be understood by reading below, the invention accomplishes this in an elegant manner. The phrases Communication Management in the main patent title and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) have the same semantics in this document.

Abstract: A method for detecting diversion may include receiving, from a dispensing cabinet including medication, data associated with a plurality of individuals accessing the dispensing cabinet to retrieve and/or return the medication. Diversion of the medication may be detected by at least applying, to at least a portion of the data received from the dispensing cabinet, a machine learning model trained to detect diversion. An identity of a first individual responsible for the diversion may be determined based on the data received from the dispensing cabinet. In response to the determination of the first individual as being responsible for the diversion, an investigative workflow may be triggered at the dispensing cabinet. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including apparatuses and computer program products, are also disclosed.

The method also includes receiving from the user one or more parameters to be used in pricing the specified vehicle. The method further includes identifying a recommended price for the specified vehicle using the competitive set and the one or more parameters. The one or more parameters could include a selection or definition of multiple pricing formulas to be used to identify the recommended price. Different pricing formulas can be associated with different lengths of time that the specified vehicle is available. A first of the pricing formulas can be used to identify a first recommended price for the specified vehicle and, after a specified amount of time has elapsed, a second of the pricing formulas can be used to identify a lower second recommended price for the specified vehicle.

Abstract: A method and system for use in performing a vehicle usage assessment for a first driver of a vehicle participating in a car sharing service based on a vehicle condition assessment of the vehicle by a second, subsequent driver. The method carried out by the system includes the steps of providing a user assessment interface that enables the second driver to provide one or more quantified assessments for one or more corresponding characteristics of the vehicle; receiving the one or more quantified assessments; associating the one or more quantified assessments with an immediately preceding first driver of the vehicle; and generating an overall assessment for the first driver using at least one of the one or more quantified assessments. The overall assessment may be used to rank the first driver relative to other drivers participating in the car sharing service.

A plurality of financial transactions involving the merchant can be received during a current time period. A current payment velocity of the financial transactions involving the merchant during the current time period can be determined. The current payment velocity can be compared with a baseline payment velocity associated with financial transactions involving the merchant during a corresponding historical time period. An available capacity of the merchant can be determined, based on a difference between the current payment velocity and the baseline payment velocity.

Abstract: Embodiments for optimizing seating space in a group seating arrangement by a processor. One or more seating preferences and constraints from a user may be received. An optimized seating arrangement in the group seating arrangement, having one or more adjustable seats, may be determined according to the one or more seating preferences and constraints. A user is enabled to select the optimized seating arrangement via a graphical user interface (GUI) such that the one or more adjustable seats in the group seating arrangement are dynamically adjusted according to the optimized seating arrangement and user selection.

Abstract: The vehicle battery pack exchange system herein described charges renters for the time use interval, the energy needed to recharge the battery pack, and the battery wear their use has caused. Data on battery wear accelerating stress parameters such as current, voltage, temperature, and state of charge is collected for battery packs rented to vehicle users. Wear rates are estimated from the collected data. Then either users are charged for the wear they cause or wear is limited to some predetermined wear rate and users are charged a predetermined battery wear fee. In either embodiment drivers are displayed information to adapt their driving to battery wear rates. Renters are charged for battery pack usage time, energy supplied by the rental station, and battery wear providing battery owners a secure return on their investment. This system accommodates both short term and sustained long term rentals.

Abstract: A computerized system for distributing an estimated monetary value of a used vehicle. The system comprises a server including a pricing engine which, for a used vehicle, identifies the seller of the used vehicle and a used vehicle retailer to which to offer the used vehicle, and determines a mileage and condition of the used vehicle. The server collects used vehicle sample data for different types of used vehicles, and generates a depreciation curve for each used vehicle type based on used vehicle sales data. It then groups each sampled used vehicle type with a set of similar depreciation curves into a depreciation segment, wherein the depreciation segment comprises a group of vehicle types that present a similar depreciation pattern, and matches the used vehicle of the seller to the depreciation segment, determines a monetary value of the used vehicle, and communicates the monetary value to the seller or the retailer.

The computer-implemented method may include extracting content from each of the plurality of sources, and analyzing the content by identifying and extracting at least knowledge information and topic information from the content. If so, additional content is generated, the selection of which is based on the parameters associated with the platform on which the requested content is to be presented as well as the content of the requested content page. Abstract: The invention includes a system and method for communicating information about attributes of a food. Common attributes of a food include its nutritional content (e.g. its protein content, salt content, vitamin B12 content, etc.), but there are many others. Communication of information to a human may occur when the human sees a facial glyph, the facial glyph representing information about the food's attributes. The specification teaches embodiments of the invention that map food attribute information (and possibly other information) into attributes of the face shown in the facial glyph, e.g. the appearance of the nose in the facial glyph may communicate salt content of a food via a longer nose for higher salt content, and a smaller nose for lower salt content. Embodiments of the invention vary the mapping of food attributes to facial attributes to improve information communication. Accessory visual elements may enhance the information communicated.

The method can include receiving, from a terminal device, a transportation request in a district. The method can also include determining a first queue associated with a queuing zone for placing the transportation request, the transportation request having a first estimated waiting time before being processed in the first queue. The method can further include determining a second queue associated with the queuing zone, the transportation request having a second estimated waiting time before being processed in the second queue, wherein the second estimated waiting time is shorter than the first estimated waiting time. The method can also include providing to the terminal device information related to the second queue.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for providing real-time updates and predictive functionality in a supply distribution chain of a product. A request is received from a user to view decentralized status information for a product, where the decentralized status information can include real time updates for building the product, assembling the product, shipping the product, and/or exchanging payments between suppliers, partners, or both. This decentralized status information for the product is received from one or more nodes on a distributed network, with the nodes being suppliers and/or partners in the supply distribution chain of the product. The user is granted at least read access to the decentralized status information of the product, as well as a prediction of product build completion based on node supply chain relationships specified within a smart contract.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for clustering data to improve data analytics may include (1) extracting a social graph from a data set of messages, the social graph indicating messages as edges such that nodes of the edges indicate corresponding senders and recipients in sender-recipient relationships, (2) detecting communities of collaborators by identifying clusters of nodes within the social graph, (3) applying the identified clusters of nodes within the social graph to a grouping calculation to group the messages of the data set into groups of messages, and (4) providing, through a computing interface, results of a data analytics operation to an end user based at least in part on applying the identified clusters of nodes within the social graph to the grouping calculation. Those input builds are resized and used to make a custom fitting shoe using a 3D printer. The dimensions are used to scale a design and then print parts of a shoe such as upper, midsole, sole, and insole on a 3D printer and then assembling or printing a shoe as a whole. This includes partially printing parts of shoes such as the sole and adding an alternate material upper. This also includes printing a shoe in its entirety to the specifications or dimensions provided by the customer.

The system then identifies one or more user feedback questions for the product. For each particular user feedback question, the system generates user feedback graphics based on stored user feedback associated with the particular user feedback question. The system transmits the one or more selected user feedback questions and the generated user feedback graphics to a client system associated with the user for display. The system receives user feedback for a user feedback question in the selected one or more user feedback questions. The system updates the user feedback graphic associated with the question to include the received user feedback. The system transmits the updated user feedback graphic to the client system for display in real-time.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a system may be configured to analyze data for a particular consent capture point to identify a change in consent capture rate from the capture point. The system may, for example, be configured to automatically detect that the system has stopped receiving consent records from a particular capture point. In such embodiments, the system may be configured to generate an alert, and transmit the alert to any suitable individual (e.g., privacy team member, IT department member, etc.) regarding the capture point. Providing a context for figuratively ‘seeing and feeling’ the results for a proposed financial strategy may assist the user in better understanding the impact of the financial strategy. Information provided in this context may educate the user with regards to the amount of income or savings required to achieve a goal over a time period. A goal for a user may be displayed as an image in a virtual reality scene based on gathered user information. The image representing the goal may be displayed according to a percent of clarity based on the financial amount needed to achieve the goal. The image may be changed based on the amount over a perceived virtual reality time period.

For example, a user interface may be placed on a card (e.g., a physical button) or a telephonic device (e.g., a virtual button on a capacitive touch screen). Manual input provided to this user interface may, for example, cause a non-merchant product (e.g., insurance) to be purchased with a merchant purchase. The product can be paid for with debit, credit, gift card balance, or points. A number of instance types can be determined that are capable of hosting a new session. Risk scores can be calculated for the instance types, as well as the cost of instances of each type. An instance type can be selected for the session using the risk scores and cost information, where the instance type will have relatively low risk with a relatively low cost for the instance. Once an instance type is selected, a resource pool can be selected from which to provide the resource instance of the selected type. The instance can then be allocated and caused to host the session or perform related functionality.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to calculate a “life script.” The life script may include various behaviors and/or monetary allocations required for a user to meet one or more user-defined objectives. These objectives may indicate various lifestyle habits desired by the user such as where to live, a maximum commuting time to work, how often to travel, etc. Because each of these objectives requires the user to allocate his funds in a certain way and to live in accordance with a particular set of restraints, user information may be collected and aggregated from several sources to generate a user profile indicating the user's financial information, demographics, psychographics, and lifestyle information. The user profile may then be analyzed to calculate a constraint framework that guides the generation of a life script to allow the user to achieve the desired objectives.

Abstract: Updates performed as part of transaction requests to a data store may be included in a stream of updates. Updates to items in the data store that are included in transactions determined not to be committed to the data store may be excluded from the stream of updates. Records in the stream of updates may include an identifier for the transaction that included the update described by the record. The identifier for the transaction may be used to identify updates to other items in the data store that are included in the same transaction.
