Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a platform for a resource provisioning system. The platform can execute big data analysis techniques to access-right data to generate statistics that characterize a set of users. For example, characteristics of users who access resources events can be analyzed with varying levels of detail. The access-right data can include access right assignments, and data identifying the users to which access rights are assigned. In some implementations, spatial management systems can access the platform to generate statistics for the resources.

Abstract: A method of controlling transmission of data over a data network comprising authenticating a first user; sending a request message comprising data corresponding to a first group of user identifiers representative of proposed recipients, and determining updates to the group of user identifiers. The updates being based on a group score representing a similarity measure indicative of an overlap between the first group and a second group of user identifiers associated with an historical data package; and a user score for a second user identifier in the second group based on the group score and access data associated with the historical data package. A control message is transmitted to the client system, and an updated group of user identifiers is generated based on the control message. A data package is constructed and transmitted to a set of recipients based on the updated group of user identifiers.

Abstract: A smart plan portal that is used in conjunction with a computer aided design (CAD) software application module. The smart plan portal provides a library of predesigned elements that are presented for selection and placement for building design. Each placed element automatically integrates with adjacent elements and the overall building design. Based on the building design using the library of elements, structural components and equipment components are generated. Each component is associated with a digital identifier that is used to identify a number of attributes for the associated component.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a context-specific experience sampling method comprising the steps of: collecting user's experience information; classifying the collected user's experience information and selecting keywords representing the classified user's experience information; generating a questionnaire to be applied to experience sampling based on the keywords; providing the questionnaire to the user; receiving response data by each activity for a context and an environment that the user has experienced, in response to the questionnaire; and analyzing a relationship between the user's context and environment and the user's experience, based on the response data by each activity for the user's context and environment.

An example embodiment for creating a virtual audience begins by providing a digital feed from a performance area to a remotely located audience. In turn, such a method receives feedback from the remotely located audience and provides an output at the performance area corresponding to at least a portion of the received feedback.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for event detection, a device, and a storage medium. An event is formed by acquiring a plurality of texts including a target keyword; extracting phrases independently describing event information from titles of the plurality of texts; and clustering the extracted phrases and gathering texts where phrases belonging to a same cluster are located to form an event. The accuracy of the event detection and the recall rate for an event can be improved through the method provided by embodiments of the present application.

Abstract: The vehicle battery pack exchange system herein described charges renters for the time use interval, the energy needed to recharge the battery pack, and the battery wear their use has caused. Data on battery wear accelerating stress parameters such as current, voltage, temperature, and state of charge is collected for battery packs rented to vehicle users. Wear rates are estimated from the collected data. Then either users are charged for the wear they cause or wear is limited to some predetermined wear rate and users are charged a predetermined battery wear fee per kWh delivered by the battery pack. In either embodiment drivers are displayed information to adapt their driving to battery wear rates. Renters are charged for battery pack usage time, energy supplied by the rental station, and battery wear providing battery owners a secure return on their investment. This system accommodates both short term and sustained long term rentals.

The electronic control unit has: a determination part that executes a first determination process for determining whether a network to which data is to be transmitted is available or not; and a transmission part that executes a first transmission process for transmitting the data to the network when it is determined that the network is available, and executes a storage process for storing the data in a storage medium when it is determined that the network is unavailable. As changes in data occur in a system, these changes are immediately used by running models implemented in the system to provide users with real-time personalized results. Concurrently, the system is continuously learning from these same changes to build test models, which are built upon the running models (which reflect past knowledge) using the current knowledge. The running models are continuously evolving as they are updated with the test models. A model implemented by the system is a match model, which is configured to intelligently determine which members are available for a new job and to provide a user with at least one member from that pool of available members who satisfies a search criteria specified by the user. The user's actions and the available member's actions are both immediately captured, analyzed and reflected in the system.

In one implementation, a method of operating a content delivery network comprising a plurality of cache nodes that cache content between end user devices and origin servers includes, in a first cache node of the plurality of cache nodes, obtaining distribution information indicative of how each cache node in the plurality of cache nodes has distributed content requests to the origin servers. The method further provides, in the first cache node maintaining a load balancing profile for the plurality of origin servers based on the distribution information, and distributing a content request to an origin server in the plurality of origin servers based at least in part on the load balancing profile for the plurality of origin servers.
