Abstract: A safety lock mechanism is provided that facilitates accurate and consistent alignment between a locking bolt and a locking receptacle prior to engaging the locking bolt. To this end, a safety lock configured to mount to a door frame is provided with an internally disposed hard stop that protects the electrical and mechanical components within the safety lock housing from door impact shock. An extended portion of the hard stop protrudes through the housing facing the direction of door travel. A corresponding receptacle assembly configured to mount to the door is fabricated to include a bolt receptacle hole as well as an open window that engages with the extended portion of the hard stop when the door is in the closed position. When the window in the receptacle is engaged with the extended portion of the hard stop, door movement is limited in five directions even when the locking bolt is not yet engaged.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method associated with the device. It is a wall for collecting wind energy, holds multiple wind turbines at increased heights, the device also pivots around a central point and keeps the turbines aligned into the direction of the wind. This device can be used to increase the yield of energy collected from the wind and to place wind turbines in stronger winds. The device enables turbines to be located within the structure. The rotation is around a center pivot point with the outer vertexes of the triangle free to move. With respect to the method, the modular cells locate the wind turbines in higher wind speeds. The wind flows around and through the cell structure creating beneficial vortexes. The wind is converted into energy at the turbine, at the conclusion of these steps wind energy is converted into electrical power.

Abstract: A grid assembly coupled to a discharge chamber of an ion beam source is configured for steering ion beamlets emitted from the discharge chamber at circularly asymmetrically determined steering angles. The grid assembly includes at least first and a second grid with a substantially circular pattern of holes, wherein each grid comprises holes positioned adjacent to one another. A plurality of the holes of the second grid is positioned with offsets relative to corresponding holes in the first grid. Due to the offsets in the holes in the second grid, ions passing through the offset holes are electrostatically attracted towards the closest circumferential portion of the downstream offset holes. Thus, the trajectories of ions passing through the offset holes are altered. The beamlet is steered by predetermined asymmetric angles. The predetermined steering angles are dependent upon the hole offsets, voltage applied to the grids, and the distance between the grids.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an assembled shaft element, in particular an assembled camshaft for valve-controlled internal combustion engines, wherein a hub body having at least one functional part, in particular at least one cam, is held on a shaft by a formfit connection using a splined tooth system in the circumferential direction, wherein the splined tooth system includes shaft splines formed on the shaft and interacting with hub body splines formed in a hub body recess. According to the invention, the at least one hub body (14) is held in addition to the circumferential formfit connection by an interference fit on the shaft (12) implemented by a press fit between a tooth circle of the shaft splines (22) and a root circle of the hub body splines (26). The invention further relates to a method for producing an assembled camshaft for valve-controlled internal combustion engines.

Abstract: An electrode plate precursor on which an active material layer is formed by applying an active material onto at least one surface of a current collector in a lengthy belt shape by means of a die comprising a paste storing part where a paste containing the active material is accumulated and a discharge flow path discharging the above paste from the paste storing part. A plan view configuration of the discharge flow path is adjusted by adjusting a plan view configuration of thin plate-like members that are arranged respectively on both end portions of the discharge flow path so that the active material layer formed in the process has a uniform thickness throughout the entire length in the width direction of the electrode plate precursor.

Abstract: The invention describes a method and a device for generating a prespecified gloss pattern on a toner image in order to develop a detection property of said toner image. In the method, toner that is first heated to above its glass transition temperature is brought into contact with a glosser belt, said glosser belt having—corresponding to the gloss pattern to be generated—at least one first area displaying a first surface roughness and at least a second area displaying a second surface roughness and/or displaying a different elevation whereas a plurality of second areas is provided within the first area displaying a specific pattern, which repetition on other glosser belts is not allowed so that an identification of specific glosser belts and thus an identification of a glosser device is easier. Subsequently, while the toner is in contact with the glosser belt, said toner is cooled to below its glass transition temperature.
